My responsibilities include the preparation, setup and organization of a variety of events including VIP events i.e. Test & Tune, Motorbike Training, Drag Racing, Corporate Karting Events, Bike Shows, Corporate Meetings, Car launches etc. Also, I organize functions at the Circuit while co-operating with other internal departments on the organization of events. I dealt with numerous suppliers as regards to most events occurring at the Circuit while organizing all their catering requirements. During International Events at the Circuit, my role reverts to Team Logistics which is an extremely important role as I directly liaise with the relevant team managers regarding their individual team requirements. Two of my colleagues and I deliver a World Class Service to the international teams that visit us every year by providing them with any request they need with the shortest amount of time possible as we are the direct contacts from Team Logistics.
All the F1 & GP2 team visas were applied through the circuit therefore I trained a part-timer to learn the full procedure of applying through the internet for e-Visas which previously was my responsibility. Another role that I have is organizing passes for events throughout the year and more importantly- international events: Formula 1, World Endurance Championship and other international events.
