Scope of Work: - Chillers, Cooling tower, ETS, EMS, Cooling & Chilled (Return & Supply) Piping’s, Make up Water, Pumps, Tanks, LVMCC, VFD, 13.8 Kv Transformer, Soft starter, Switch Gear etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Prepare and review of quality documents like Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Specification, Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)/Procedure Qualification Record (PQR)/ Welder Qualification Test (WQT).
•Review & Prepare MRIR as per approved material Submittal, Specification, delivery note, MTC, COC etc.
•To carry out Stage wise inspection of site erection activities & raise NOI/RFI as per ITP & Approved drawings.
•Inspection of Painting activity from surface preparation to final coat.
•Control of piping erection and fabrication as per shop and field weld, inspection of the same.
•Coordination with Production and Quality Control Departments on Production Planning and Quality issues.
•Conducting welders test as per ASME Sec IX.
•Prepare WPS/PQR for various materials like carbon steel, stainless steel and other materials.
•Refer the Client standard and international standard like ASME B31.3 and ASME Sec IX.
•Issue punch list on lines that requires so, monitor and supervise reinstatement
•Check and inspect the gaskets, valves prior to the reinstatement acceptance as per latest drawings for construction, code and specification standards.
•Coordination of NDT crews raises RFN (request for NDT) as per the priorities.
•Documentation and recording of all testing activities, daily welding reports.
•Prepare and submit inspection reports of fit-ups, dimensional, visual, material summary & red marking drawings for proper document and approval.
•Reviews & verifies Welding inspection & NDT reports (MPT, RT & PT) on all welding joints prior to finalization & acceptance of its certificates.
•Prepare inspection request prior to accept the construction piping / welding work, pressure testing and releasing of fabricated pipelines in order to prepare certification for the completed items.
•Witnessing Hydro test activity and Preparation of hydro test packages and punch listing.
•Follow up QMS six mandatory procedures like Control of Documents, Records, Inspection, NCR/NCMR and Corrective Action & Preventive Action.
•To inspect and to provide recommendation / quality plan to carryout corrective actions (replacement or repair) for concerns / failures related to static equipment’s of MTBE, Carbon Black & Utility plants based on the inspection findings.
•Evaluating the condition and ensuring the integrity of static equipment’s (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, storage tanks, boilers, heaters etc.) and piping of the complex.
•Carry out Root Cause Analysis for the major / repetitive nature of failures to find the damage mechanism and to issue RCA report and necessary recommendations based on the analysis to prevent its re-occurrence.
•To determine remaining service life of equipment’s and piping based on the inspection findings.
•Provide material specifications and ensuring modification/repairs of static equipment’s/pipelines comply with the relevant international codes and standards.
•To provide Inspection Test Plan to vendors / contractors while procurement of new equipment’s/piping/fittings and to carry out stage wise inspection activities during its fabrication.
•To inspect PSV’s and recommend any corrective action based on the observations and also to witness POP & Leak test at its specified pressure.
•Inspection scope preparation, man-power requirement identification for Shutdown / Turnaround of the plants.
•Inspection Package preparation for static equipment’s before Turn around / Shutdown.
•To provide quality plan, clearly mentioning inspection hold points to vendors before fabrication of new equipment’s which are to be installed in the plant as part of MOC process or new project execution.
•Provide welding procedures for repairs involving welding.
•To review and update the inspection procedures related to static equipment’s.
•Review WPS / PQR submitted by vendors / contractors.
•To witness / review NDT inspection and hydro test/pneumatic tests results.
•To provide painting specifications and carry out stage wise inspection.
•Controlling quality control activities and directly involving in inspection activities.
•Review and maintaining records of Calibration certificates of Instruments, Personnel Certifications, Batch test Certificates for Consumables etc.
