To act as the primary HR interface within the Business / Support Groups aligning human resource efforts with business objectives to ensure increased profitability, productivity and employee engagement.
Advise the Group/Function on all HR issues to ensure that all employees are managed in the Bank’s processes and educate line managers in the use of effective people management techniques.
Identify recruitment needs and oversee the recruitment process to ensure candidates of the best caliber are sourced and on-boarded
Execute the Bank’s job analysis, grading and salary management processes to ensure fair and reasonable outcomes in line with budget and wider standards
Manage grievances, exits and disciplinary actions to ensure appropriate outcomes in line with policy.
Advise on the structure of the Group/Function to ensure that the structure and roles are fit for purpose and improve performance
Advise on and interpret HR policy and procedures to ensure these are understood and complied with by all levels of employee
Advise and counsel members of staff on a confidential basis to ensure issues are clarified and resolved
Plan and take actions to recruit/exit employees to ensure the Bank achieves Kuwaitization targets
Work fully within:
- risk policies and procedures
- all compliance regulations
conduct training bank wide on the banks products and services. Train new joiners through induction programs and existing employees for certifications. the creation of training programs bank wide.
The program focuses on educating the participants in principles of banking, financial economics, banking laws and regulations, corporate finance and retail finance and risk management as well as analytical thinking, customer service and Kuwaiti financial institutions & stock market, in addition to courses in communication, behavioral science, presentation skills and personal development.
As part of the program is an intensive boot camp that exposes the trainees to an extremely powerful self-awareness and personal development regime. Gulf Bank partnered with Pink Coffee of The Proteges fame to conduct this boot camp.
The third major phase of the Graduate Program is a five week local field training to provide exposure to real-life practices at the Bank that reinforces the classroom training and also provides the trainees to work on strategically important assignments in various disciplines of the bank. Upon completion of the field training the trainees will return to the classroom for further conceptual education.
The final phase of the program includes structured practical training through placement of the trainees with international banks and local businesses & other institutions. This will provide the trainees an opportunity to interact with experts in the field of banking and other financial institutes as well as understand the local business environment.
Managing a portfolio of 20 Million USD, through local and international investments and providing personal banking services.
