KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning & Operations Management:
• Strategize and oversee the company’s investment business, identify and recommend investment opportunities, forecast ROIs, and strengthen the company’s investment portfolio.
• Manage operations of the department in the absence of the Senior Manager, supervise staff, assign responsibilities and accountability to staff (office manager, executive secretary, employees in reception, production, sales, accounting, administration, and legal) and ensure goals are met.
• Collaborate with the Senior Management to define business objectives, establish performance indicators allocate resources across business activities, and ensure objectives are met.
• Break-down objectives into sub-parts for departments to facilitate easier tracking of objectives and measuring performance.
• Participate in meetings with senior management for devising strategic plans, coordinate meetings, discuss plan of action for implementing key decisions taken.
• Provide recommendations to the BOD and GM regarding the strategic direction of the company, monitor business plan outcomes to verify these are in in line with strategic objectives.
Administration:
• Participate in budget preparation, review budgetary allocations for each division in conjunction with the GM and ensure priorities are met; provide information to the Board of Directors regarding budgetary allocations.
• Focus on maintaining administrative quality control and following best practices, make suggestions for improvements to the GM and Board of Directors.
• Evaluate the administrative structure, revamp it if necessary (in collaboration with the GM) to improve operational efficiency and staff productivity.
• Serve as the company representative at various industry events, conferences and seminars, develop excellent business relations within the industry.
• Oversee payroll processing in time and ensure salaries are credited to employee accounts, and disburse bonuses.
• Prepare and present performance and budget reports to the senior management, make recommendations for improvement and highlight areas that require immediate management intervention.
Sales & Marketing:
• Provide key inputs for developing sales and marketing plans, monitor sales performance and motivate teams to meet assigned targets.
• Organize and execute promotional and marketing campaigns, help develop marketing material / publications and monitor effectiveness of campaigns.
• Conduct market research, gauge customer preferences and assess competitors, modify marketing plans to counteract competition.
