Policies, Standards, Frameworks.
o Develop and review request for proposal (RFPs) for all the initiatives related to the digital transformation.
o Evaluate vendor’s proposals for the e-transformation related projects and leading the sessions for selecting
the qualified vendor.
Managing e-Government Transformation Strategy (Enterprise Architecture) project at Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).
- Develop and evaluate architecture standards, guidelines and reference architectures (Technology domain).
- Provide Reporting services (views and guidance) using ARIS tool to the management.
- Review RFP, SOW and design documents & checking compliance with NIC architecture principles and standards.
- Validate Technology Architecture against NIC architecture principles and against industry best practices.
- Model and design EA products/artifacts ( As-Is & To-Be) in the repository as per provided model (meta-model).
- Analyze industry, technology and market trends to determine their potential impacts on NIC.
- Develop and maintain NIC Enterprise Architecture repository (Technology Domain).
- Ensure the alignment between NIC strategy and NIC projects and operations.
- Participate in developing and maintain IT standards for NIC & MOI (Hardware Specification).
- Perform various assessments and analysis (e.g. impact analysis, risk assessment, gap analysis…etc.).
- Record NIC’s current and future IT capacity requirements (NIC IT infrastructure capacity).
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and audit the process.
- Act as an expert and advisor on all NIC capacity and performance issues and needs.
- Monitoring business, service, and resource capacity utilization.
-Investigate and diagnosis all capacity-related incidents and problems.
- Maintain an accurate Capacity Management Database (CDB).
- Evaluate all changes as they might relate to performance and capacity.
- Ensuring that there is adequate IT capacity to meet required levels of service.
-Assessing new techniques or products for use by Capacity Management that might improve the process.
- Provide daily operational support to the whole NIC network infrastructure (3000+ remote sites (14000+ users terminals), campus, DR sites).
- Carry out all network system requests (establishing a new circuits, upgrade or relocation…etc.)
- Perform software upgrades on switches, routers, firewall devices (Cisco -Juniper)
- Perform validation test and evaluate network solutions and communications equipment from various vendors.
- Resolve network system incidents received from NIC helpdesk and close the tickets.
- Provide consultation services to MOI sectors for their network solutions and projects.
- Generate periodical reports to the management (network utilization, links status, Network security issues…etc.)
- Perform Network monitoring and Performance Management of all NIC network devices (Router, switches, …etc.)
- Carry out WAN connectivity between NIC Network & different sites (VSAT solution, IP-VPN, Fiber Optics…etc.)
- Participate in establishing and implementing security policies on networking resources.
- carry out monitoring & analyzing links performance using different network management and monitoring systems.
- Provide daily operational support to the whole Aramco network (500+ remote sites and campus).
- Design, configure, and install different kind of network solutions for new sites.
