• Review of Project specifications, Procedures, Method statements & ITP (Inspection
and Test Plan).
• Verify flat layouts, room sizes, balcony projections, toilet dimensions, and kitchen
layouts as per IFC drawings.
• Inspect waterproofing works for bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and roof slabs,
including surface preparation, membrane application, and water ponding tests
before tiling.
• Check tile alignment, tile slope in toilets/balconies, plaster levelness, wall
squareness, skirting, false ceiling levels, and paint finish quality for each flat.
• Ensure correct installation of doors, windows, sliding systems, glass, handrails, and
balcony parapets with proper alignment, sealing, and safety requirements.
• Carry out detailed inspections for individual apartments, common areas, stairs,
corridors, and parking before handover, ensuring all residential defects are closed.
• Inspect foundation dimensions, anchor bolt alignment, grout pockets, and vibration
isolation requirements for gas turbines, generators, compressors, and auxiliary
equipment as per IFC drawings.
• Monitor concrete mix design, temperature control, pouring sequence, curing
methods, and crack prevention for mass concrete works such as turbine
foundations, chimney bases, and heavy equipment pedestals.
• Verify elevations, alignment, slope, and spacing of pipe racks, pipe sleepers, and
supports to ensure proper routing of fuel gas, steam, cooling water, and utility
pipelines.
• Inspect Firewalls, blast walls, and protective structures around turbines,
transformers, and fuel systems to meet safety and power plant design requirements.
• Ensure high-precision civil works for control rooms, cable basements, trenches, and
raised floors, including waterproofing and strict level tolerances for sensitive
electrical and control equipment.
• Ensure construction quality of tanks (aeration tanks, clarifiers, equalization tanks,
sludge tanks) with strict control on concrete joints, water stops, crack prevention,
and curing to achieve leak-free structures
• Verify invert levels, slopes, and dimensions of trenches to ensure proper gravity
flow and hydraulic performance of the treatment process.
• Inspect waterproofing systems, protective coatings, epoxy linings, and chemical
resistant screeds in tanks, channels, and pump rooms exposed to sewage and
chemicals.
• Check accuracy of embedded pipes, sleeves, anchor bolts, pipe penetrations,
grouting, and openings for mechanical equipment (mixers, pumps, diffusers) before
concrete casting.
• Monitor backfilling around underground tanks, pipe trenches, and structures with
proper material selection, layer-wise compaction, and testing to prevent settlement
and future leakage.
• Monitor sub-contractor inspection, testing & construction activities. Excavation,
Back-filling inspection and Monitoring of field density test as per client specification.
• Check underground utilities (Duct bank, Manhole, Modular Substations, pipe lines).
Inspection of buildings activities as per Approved ITP & QC procedure.
• Ensuring that all materials to be utilized on site are approved through RFI for
material receiving inspection.
• To Submit the job completion, report daily, weekly & monthly. Also record the all
relevant information as required by client copies to be retained by inspector.
• Issued nonconformance report (INCR) if the work is not in compliance with the IFC
Drawing & Project specifications and standards.
• Ensuring the all construction site work activities as per approved ITP & drawing,
project specification.
• To raise proactive during construction works to avoid any non-conformance.
