• Responsible for meeting established retail sales and profit goals set by the organization.
• Identifying problems, creating choices and providing alternatives courses of actions.
• Ensure efficient operations of the Restaurant & Café with special attention to the preparation and serving of food that enhances both the customer and co-workers dining experience.
• Oversee the inventory and stock levels across the department from purchasing, ordering and stock rotation (FIFO).
• Implement, develop and monitors the food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment for the customers and co-workers in accordance with HACCP standards as well as local health and safety regulations standards.
• Responsible for the efficient organization of the business area in relation to financial performance i.e. gross profit, costs, hours planning, productivity levels, absence management and holiday planning to agreed service levels.
• Recruiting, training and motivating staff and managing staff and providing them with feedback.
• Meeting /greeting customers and organizing table reservations and responding to customer complain.
• Estimate F&B costs. Portion control and quantities of preparation. Planning & coordinating menus.
• Ensuring accurate records are kept and necessary documentation completed in accordance with Company procedure.
• Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
• Providing great customer service, committed to deliver excellence with a fast paced dynamic teamwork.
• Demonstrating strong leadership, provide great communication skills & deliver briefings to the team.
• Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
• Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including equipment Maintenance and documentation
