• Assisting Chief HSE Officer in fulfilling Company’s HSE Mission& Vision.
• Monitoring the performance of HSE Directorate-GEPCO to ensure compliance with HSE Manual, Environmental & Safeguard SOP.
• Carrying out site inspections, internal HSE audits to determine the remedial actions and preparation of Monitoring reports.
• Maintaining regular contact and coordination with public and stakeholders to deal with their enquiries, requests, complaints and possible necessary action / redress.
• Plan, develop, and arrange external and internal QHSE trainings for employees’ e.g. emergency response programs, environmental management programs and health & safety issues to the workers and staff members.

• Assisting the Chief Engineer (Development) in fulfilling companys environmental and social
responsibilities.
• Monitoring the performance of Construction Directorate - GEPCO and contractors to ensure
compliance with environmental management plan.
• Carrying out site inspections to determine the remedial actions and preparation of Monitoring reports.
• Maintaining regular contact and coordination with public and stakeholders to deal with their enquiries,
requests, complaints and possible necessary action / redress.
• Review of environmental and social assessment reports and resettlement plans prepared for the
projects.
• Preparation of Term of References (ToRs), evaluation, prequalification and hiring of consultants for
environmental studies.
• Taking care of the responsibilities and tasks related to Environment, Land and Social Safeguards.
• Purchasing of Lands for New 132KV Grid Stations through Tendering process, Single Stage
Two Envelope Procedure following PPRA rules, Seller, Buyer-Willingness basis.
• Training of Companys construction, operation staff and contractors on environmental& social
issues.
• Performing social and environmental impact assessment studies of power sector projects;
prepare social & environmental assessment reports and submit to local environmental
protection agency.
• Team Member of Companys Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program.
• Coordinate/ Liaise with all sections of Dept. for collaborative efforts to achieve quality,
environmental, health, safety Objectives provincial/ district govt. bodies like
environmental protection agency and NGOs in lieu of Environmental Approval/ NOC
• Conducting on Site internal HSE Audits, part of internal HSE Audit Team, Reporting &
follow-up

• Develop, monitor and implement health, safety and environmental management system
at production facility in coordination with plant manager/ production manager.
• Plan, develop, and arrange external and internal QHSE trainings for employees e.g.
emergency response programs, environmental management programs and health & safety
issues to the workers and staff members
