Softoven is a digital design focused company and works on Lean Methodology system. I met quite amazing people here who have changed my perspective about how things work.
My responsibilities here have been so interesting so far.
In the very beginning I was assigned to convert the PSD designs into responsive HTMLs.
Then later, I worked on Wordpres. I did some theme development and wrote a plugin from scratch which would import mobile data from GsmArena.com into admin panel.
After that I was worked with Bolt CMS. We just had an amazing experience trying out Bolt CMS. I thought Wordpress was end of the world, but to our surprise we were able to build a very sophisticated website from scratch in less than 10 hours with Bolt!
Now I am working on SocialNetwork which we started building from PSD designs. My part was to convert those PSD into responsive HTML and then write API with RESTful Webservices which lies on the top of CodeIgniter instance and uses JWT token for authentication process.
I did the degree of BEIT (Bachelors of Engg. in IT). This degree spans over a variety of subjects of which majors subjects we were taught are: Databases, Networks, Web Technologies, MicroControllers, Electronics and Business Management subjects. The degree is approved by HEC, Pakistan and it's duration is of 4 years for which one can be eligible after having 12 years of education. So I am having 16 years of eduction now.
