Leading Moody’s Middle East (primarily GCC) marketing and outreach strategies for business origination, business development and account management across GCC corporates, FI’s and sovereigns . •Help in deepen regional debt capital markets, Islamic Finance and Mortgage home finance. Through, active engagement with Arab Monetary Fund, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB), Gulf Bond and Sukuk Association (GBSA) and ME Investor Association (MIRA).
•Regular speaker in many MENA and Islamic Finance held conferences and workshops, discussing capital market products (including those offered by Moody’s), sharing Emerging EMEA debt and Islamic Finance knowledge.
• Team leader, for the advisory team involved in corporate restructuring and assisting listed and privately owned companies in securing their funding needs.
• Lead manager and financial Advisor for the issuance of an Islamic financing Mudarabah Sukuk, a UAE private placement. Valued at USD250 million.
• Financial advisor for a GDR issue and subsequent listing on the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX).
• Sell side Advisor for the Divestment of a well-established retailer/wholesaler in the Middle East region. Valued at USD500 million.
• Buy side Advisor, representing a GCC Bidder in an international oil sector related privatization. Total value exceeding USD350 million.
