Leading Moody’s Middle East (primarily GCC) marketing and outreach strategies for business origination, business development and account management across GCC corporates, FI’s and sovereigns . Engaged in driving the company’s new credit ratings business, retention and growing existing accounts, developing bespoke and new rating products (including ESG products) and outreach for market participants-including both issuers and investors and market participants (Investment banks and rating advisors)
•Leading Moody’s business into North Africa, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt. Developing strategies around expanding new business and working with market participants (investors and market influencers) and government agencies.
•Global Islamic Finance Coordinator for Moody’s Islamic Finance activities and global rating initiatives in Middle East, Africa and APAC (Grow the Core). Primary focus on engagement with Financial institutions, Sukuk issuers, Takaful and Islamic Asset management.
•Help in deepen regional debt capital markets, Islamic Finance and Mortgage home finance. Through, active engagement with Arab Monetary Fund, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB), Gulf Bond and Sukuk Association (GBSA) and ME Investor Association (MIRA).
•Regular speaker in many MENA and Islamic Finance held conferences and workshops, discussing capital market products (including those offered by Moody’s), sharing Emerging EMEA debt and Islamic Finance knowledge.
