Oracle ERP Head
• Lead and Support a team of Project, Financial and cloud related to our prestigious client Royal Commission of jubail.
• Oracle Applications (PSB, Sourcing, iSupplier, iAsset, AP, AR, CM etc. modules) and custom extensions in the various instances of the release life Cycle.
• Responsible for gathering customer requirements and mapping them onto the Oracle applications.
• Mapping and GAP analysis is done for each module.
• Self-Service Development and Customization.
• Workflow and AME Development and Customization. .
• Preparation of Oracle Standard Documentation.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Re-implementation and design Oracle ERP R12.2.0.4 in pharmaceutical distribution business processes and participating in all implementation and rollout, taking responsibility to manage team and training for one or more module areas (P2P and O2C).
• Application configuration/setup for Oracle Applications (Inventory, Purchasing, GL, AP, AR, OM etc. modules) and custom extensions in the various instances of the release life Cycle.
• Responsible for gathering customer requirements and mapping them onto the Oracle applications.
• Mapping and GAP analysis is done for each module.
• Generate knowledge about the current business process, design current business flows, study current business processes and its complication.
• Provide support with team to the end user in their day to day and especial audit, month-end and year-end activities.
• Conference room pilot testing, unit testing, and integration testing. Test script preparation.
• Raising TARs with oracle for different issues and following up till resolution
• Active member of the implementation and support team participating in all implementation, rollout, enhancements and upgrade projects taking responsibility for one or more module areas (P2P and O2C), overseeing design, build, test and implementation
• Responsible for gathering customer requirements and mapping them onto the Oracle applications in the most efficient way maintaining best market practices and guaranteeing corporate standards
• Management and supervision of all works being carried by different vendors in the modules of responsibility assuring the solutions proposed and the quality of the work done
• Provide support to the end user in their day to day and especial audit, month-end and year-end activities.
• Gather requirements from key users and guide them on Oracle best practice providing solutions and highlighting drawbacks of the different options and scenarios possible.
• Identify areas of improvement and proactively review with users possible IT enhancements as part of a process and quality program.
• Liaison with Oracle for upgrades, patches and SR
• Serve as a Offshore lead Oracle ERP solution delivery expert in the areas of Financial, Procure to Pay, HRMS and Supply Chain for a large ERP program conforming to established system architecture standards and practices and manage a large team of oracle ERP consultants.
• Actively participate in and drive the design, development and maintenance of modifications/customizations of the Oracle Applications eBusiness suite (Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs and Standard Interfaces) and deploying such modification/customization in Oracle eBusiness environment.
• A change agent for business processes through developing strong business partnerships and defining technical / functional solutions to business problems
• Lead business process evaluation / improvement activities, requirements gathering, system analysis, system design.
• Responsible for technical architecture design, logical design, technology strategy and will play a key role in engaging multiple stakeholders to ensure a successful rollout of business solutions
• Translate challenging business requirements into solutions leveraging standard Oracle functionality in latest/current releases of Oracle eBusiness Suite
• Work as a business partner with client users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions
• Manage and lead delivery of technical components and coordinate and communicate status, issues and delivery plan
• Participate in process analysis, process design, mapping, and process/software gap analysis.
• Develop functional and technical design and documentation of Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications including use of documented revision control.
• Open, manage, and resolve Oracle SR's with Oracle Support.
• Drive the resolution & troubleshooting of issues during development and post production support.
• Create test scripts performing unit testing.
