Endorsed by Aramco to oversee critical tie-ins involving Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping networks, and security infrastructure, focusing on multidisciplinary coordination to maintain project momentum across Saudi Aramco East West Pump Stations 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Key Responsibilities and Controls
• Develop and maintain the Project Interface Management Plan (IMP) in accordance with Saudi Aramco project procedures and contractual obligations.
• Identify and manage all internal and external interfaces across Electrical, Instrumentation, Communication, Security, Plumbing, and Civil to ensure full integration and alignment.
• Act as the key liaison between the Client (Aramco & SAPMT) and internal Discipline Engineers, maintaining regular communication to ensure technical consensus and operational alignment on all interface requirements.
• Lead the interface management process by developing and maintaining a detailed Interface Register to systematically track, resolve, and close all critical connection points.
• Facilitate regular interface coordination meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure consistent alignment among engineering disciplines (Electrical, Instrumentation, Communication, Security, Plumbing, and Civil) and other stakeholders, including vendors and subcontractors.
• Enforce mandatory interface discipline by conducting 6 (six) months revalidation of all interface reservations, ensuring the register remains accurate, updated, and that preservation areas remain secured for project needs.
• Monitor, track, and drive the resolution of interface issues, escalating high-risk or unresolved items to senior management and ensuring timely close-out.
• Manage critical civil interface coordination with third-party contractors, successfully aligning security system installation boundaries with Sinopec’s pipeline execution within the adjacent MGS III project scope, ensuring smooth execution and progress continuity.
• Collaborate closely with Aramco, SAPMT, and all discipline teams to resolve cross-functional conflicts efficiently, maintaining clear communication channels and uninterrupted work progress.
• Attend weekly SAPMT coordination meetings to present interface progress, discuss ongoing conflicts, and drive resolutions through collaborative discussions and documented actions.
• Support project controls and planning by aligning all interface deliverables and milestones with the overall project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with document control and engineering teams to ensure proper tracking, review, and approval of all interface-related documents and correspondence.
• Focus on resolving interface conflicts, maintaining stakeholder alignment, prioritizing project scope, sustaining progress, and safeguarding the company’s interests and overall project success.
• Ensure all interface management activities fully comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Engineering Procedures (SAEP), and other project-specific requirements.
