Summary: Part of team that manages Global Firewalls, Proxies and GNAC (Aruba Clearpass) Devices for 6 global giants, which includes, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Bluecoat, McAfee, Juniper Netscreen/SRX, Scansafe, Zscaler and Aruba Clearpass server.
The following points describe my work capacity at British Telecom.
•Aruba Clearpass SME for SOC for and escalation engineer from BT before filling for case with OEM for bugs and issues.
•Part of a team that manages Network Security Infrastructure for 6 large giants. Which includes FMCG, Food and Beverages, largest Logistics and Post, Electrical equipment and Power includes changes, Up-gradation and solution to critical issue.
•Managing VPN and troubleshooting VPNs across multivendor environments
•Mitigation of any priority incidents and providing RCA.
•Liaising with OEM vendor for any bugs and abnormalities.
•Working on new projects implementation for firewall/Proxy upgrades, VPN setup, and Proxy setup related to network security and troubleshooting
The following points describe my work capacity at Xchanging.
Responsible for managing Network Infrastructure of the Northern India Region Which includes Gurgaon, Manesar and Solan Sites of Xchanging.
Managing the Switches, Routers and Firewalls. This includes Up-gradation and Monitoring of the devices.
Part of Xchanging IT Audited Team for Certification Audits for ISO22301:2012 (BCMS), ISO 27001:2005, ISO 27001:2013 (ISMS) & ISO 9001:2008 (QMS).
Complete Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation of the Xchanging Center 2 at Gurgaon with capacity for 350 users. This includes Setting up complete network Infrastructure which includes Routing Switching, Wireless, and Security using Fortinet Firewall, Internet policing and UTM device configuration and Traffic shaping to control traffic.
Implementation of many Cisco 3750X, 3750v2, 4506, 3560, 3560v2 2960 and other devices on L2 and L3 Topology.
Implementation of Fortinet 1000C UTM Appliance at Gurgaon in HA and with 3 Internet link 150, 150 and 25 Mbps ( BGP and static routing) with Failover and with Internet policing and UTM Application Control device configuration and Traffic shaping to control traffic.
Implementation of Fortinet FSSO Single Sign on at Multiple Locations with single and multiple AD domains Environment.
Implementation of Traffic shaping with Fortinet on multiple devices 300C, 310B, 200B and 1000C and firmware upgrade.
Implementation of Fortinet 300C UTM Appliance at Manesar in NAT mode and with security Internet policing and UTM device configuration and Traffic shaping to control traffic and Internet.
Creation of DMZ Zones with Fortinet for Xchanging for Application Server and AD proxy Servers for office 365 Implementation.
Project Management for Implementation of Up-gradation to Avaya G450 (2013) IP telephony system at Gurgaon with 500 stations and transition of PRI lines from Alcatel EPBAX to Avaya with minimal user issue. Also implementation of one number plan and uniform dialing across location from earlier prefix based trunk dialing for global and pan India locations. This helped in uniform IP calling globally.
Complete Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation of the Solan Site which Xchanging has opened in Solan as low cost center with capacity for 250 users. This includes Setting up complete network Infrastructure which includes Routing on BGP and Fortinet Firewall Setup, Internet policing and UTM device configuration and Traffic shaping to control traffic. This was done by me as one man team.
Implementation of Fortinet 200B UTM Appliance at Solan in HA and with VDOM to improve the work in transparent and NAT mode and with security Internet policing and UTM device configuration and Traffic shaping to control traffic.
Implementation of Fortinet 310B UTM Appliance at Gurgaon in HA and removal of proxy server to improve the bandwidth utilization and security.
Planning and implementation of Wireless Network Infrastructure for Gurgaon Site on with two factor authentication using EAP-TLS thus making it highly secure using Aruba devices which can support 400- 450 users efficiently ( 80000 square feet area on three floors) . This was done by me as one man team.
Updating Service Packs and Security Patches as per the requirement.
BCP coordinator from IT for any disaster recovery at BCP Site and it maintenance.
Coordination with Hardware vendors and different service providers for IT/ Network Infrastructure needs
Part of team for Fortune 100 customers to troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues with mission-critical Mobile Messaging product, Exchange/AD, network firewalls and securities, carrier networks, NOC, and handhelds, including: deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
This project was also a part of bridges and the gap between social and secure, protecting business and personal information so that the mobile users can connect and collaborate on today's most popular smart phones. The Technology combines a great user experience with the tool and IT needs to manage and protect its mobile enterprise, all through a straightforward Web-based architecture.
Responsible to manage the logical and physic structure of Active Directory on Windows 2003/2008 server, manage and administer Exchange server version 2000, 2003 and 2007, manage mobile messaging servers (GoodLink Server/ Good Mobile messaging). Also assisting customers with other Windows server services like DNS, DHCP, FTP, Print and File server. Member of a highly motivated team that is responsible for providing server troubleshooting of the complete series of Mobile Messaging to the administrators.

Migration of Mobile Messaging Server from one host machine to another.
Recovering from an Exchange Disaster with Mobile Messaging-Enabled Handhelds.
Recovering from a Mobile Messaging Server Disaster.
Responsible for performing upgrade of Exchange server to new versions (i.e. Exchange 2000/2003 to Exchange 2003/2007).
Troubleshooting with the issues on Mobile Messaging Server solutions extend enterprise applications including Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, Intranets and certain web enabled corporate applications to mobile employees when and where they need them, using end to end AES encrypted, FIPS 1402 certified security, and cradle free, real time two way wireless synchronization.
Delivering critical corporate information to the handhelds users choose, over the networks they prefer.
Understanding the application and tries to test all features supported by the software, if found any bug or feature not working then report to engineering for further investigation. This all includes some proposed features as a feature request to add the feature in next release.
