Etihad Rail DB Operations is a joint venture company, one that combines the global practice/international expertise of Deutsche Bahn (DB Schenker) and the local know-how of Etihad Rail. ER has contracted Saipem -Dodsal -Technimont (JV) to carry out construction and track work for the first freight rail service in the UAE. Ansaldo STS is contracted for providing European Train Control System (ETCS) level 2 signaling system while responsible for installation and commissioning of a wide range of signaling and Freight Control System (FCS) along with SCADA and LV power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Platform testing of Train Management System (TMS) technical validation:
✰ Lead platform unit testing, functional acceptance testing (FAT), System
Integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities for system
deployment.
✰ Ensure system design, interface functionality, processes are coordinated &
functioning effectively as per FRS requirements.
✰ Lead role for ERTMS Baseline Deployment validation.
✰ Testing, Debugging & Route management via TMS - OBU Interface

+ Conduct T&C activities (Hands-on experience) for Vital & Non-Vital Systems
interface with Operational Control Center:
✰ Axle Counter (Frauscher), Point (Contec), Balise Configuration
✰ Freight Control System apparatus (Progress Rail)
✰ LV/MV Switchgear & UPS (Schneider)
✰Access Control System (Honeywell) & Security Management System Integrator.
+ Lead role in Dynamic Testing/System Operational DT as TMS Operator & RBC Responsible (RBCR) in OCC for Activities of Operational Test Scenarios,
Management of Train routes & Optimization of traffic.
+ System Integration, Protocol & Communication Testing of SCADA HMI Interface with wayside RTUs and embedded computing interface.

The Dakni Gas Condensate Field is located at a distance of about 135 Kms in the south-west of Islamabad. The field was discovered in Feb. 1983 and came on regular production in December 1989. Gas contains 6-8% H2S in the well stream. I was responsible for Erection & Commissioning of Sulphur Recovery Unit in the Central Control Room (CCR)

+ Installation & Commissioning of Distributed Control System Panels (Honeywell Experion) with HART Protocol in Central Control Room.
+ Certification and implementation of Quality Management System Requirement (ISO:9001), Occupational Health and Safety Management System
(OHSAS:18001) and Integrated Management System (IMS).
+ Oversee installation & Commissioning activities of wide range of instruments
as per P&ID and Hookup Drawings.
+ Installation of HMI (Siemens S7-S5) and Configuration of Operator Servers /
Workstations.
+ Working Experience on Electrical systems including Rustin Gas Turbine Generator, LV/MV Switch-gear, MCC panels, VFD/Soft Starter.
+ Network implementation using Ethernet LAN and wireless Network.
