Title of thesis: Coastal Morphological Evolution and Protection Measures: A
Delft3D Flexible Mesh Study of Mobor Beach, Goa.
Setting up, validation, and calibration of an online coupled wave - flow -
morphology model in Delft3D Flexible Mesh Suite to study sediment dynamics
of the region and propose protective measures to counter beach erosion.
Undertook Field activities including Beach profiling using RTK, measurement
of river discharge using ADCP, and measurement of various parameters
using LISST, ADCP, etc.
Two weeks Internship done under the Coastal engineering Field Division.
Created a geodatabase of Coastal protection structures along Kerala coast
and their status using ArcGIS.
Reviewed Design and cost estimates of various Seawall and Groyne projects.
Carried out Littoral Environment Observations of Thiruvananthapuram coast.
