• Responsible for applying and understanding the utility procedures, policies and standards as well as vendor, industry and regulatory in order to Procure for the desired project.
• Price analysis of material / Subcontractor in order to proceed before finalising the PA/PO to a particular vender/supplier/contractor.
• Coordination with site Project Manager, Sr. Engineers & Consultant to clarify issues and get the submittals discussed and approved.
• Attending regular meetings in site and in house with higher managements on monthly basis.
• Interacting with the traders, manufacturers and indenting agents, negotiating the best prices and following up with timely delivery is vital.
• Effective knowledge about available goods in market, their prices, quality, etc.
