Developed channels and completed value chain.
Tripled the business size and profitability within first five years. Broke 50+ years profitability record twice. Distributed four times more cash dividend than the whole history combined. Achieved market leadership in VT within first 3 years with 20%+ MS. Acquired Volvo Buss distribution and achieved segment leadership in year 1. Acquired GAC and achieved mainstream PC business size and MS within 3 years. Market leadership in mini freezer vans. Top Honda MS in GCC. Made DOMASCO Watches, one of the most lucrative watch business in Qatar, adding 11 new brands, 15 new outlets, fashion segment and 120+ dealers. Turned around Electronics; survived Sanyo takeover; acquired Blue Star and Mastergas distributions. Established BAA yard reducing storage cost by 50%. Led McKinsey Transformation. Redevelopment of BAA consolidating aftersales footprint and reducing network cost by 50%. Established DOMASCO Automall. Implemented SAP IS Auto, Syncron, FastTrack, Connect, Prism (Retail Pro), Hybris, Ariba, SpinCar, SnapCell, Ecommerce, APP, DLT, LPA, VMI, AE, CE, ISO etc. Received more than 100 best performance/achievement awards. Takeover of Famco Qatar. Strategic Alliances with AVR, QIC, SEIB etc. Founding Board Member of Swedish Chamber of Commerce Qatar from Jun 2018 to date. Special assignment as Acting Managing Director & CEO of Omasco, Oman; from Oct 2018 to Jun 2019; to turnaround business and revamp leadership team. Revamped Agriculture and Construction businesses. Jabal-e-Kaaba Phase 1 (Anjum Hotel) Project Turnaround from more than 120% budget overrun. Jabal-Al-Kaaba Master Plan (9000 rooms on 54000 SqM; SAR 11 Billion Land). Master Plan Concept, Design, Review, Dev. Planning of Serviced Apartments, 4 Star & Budget Hotels on land bank across KSA.
Rejoined KCPC to work closely with the Chairman (alongside retiring Group CFO) on more strategic responsibilities including financing, acquisitions etc. in addition to earlier responsibilities of Group Financial Controller. Turned around a failed SAP “Go Live”. Tender, award & financing of Jaber Al-Ahmad City project (USD 730M). Evaluation & structuring of sale of USD 48M Elevator business to Schindler.
Responsible for First Dubai Real Estate Investment Co along with its associates. Reporting to BOD and Group CEO. USD 2 Billion KSE listed company with DFM listing in process, having Group’s running projects in hand of circa USD 15 Billion with proposals of USD 30 Billion in pipeline. Engaged in RE Dev, Asset Management & Facilities Management. First Dubai Pvt. Placement (KD200M. USD 709M). IPO & listing in KSE. Initiated DFM listing. Sky Gardens deal with Amlak (USD 450M). First Waterfront spinoff & Pvt. Placement (KD 50M. USD 177M). Developed & organized Corporate Finance, Treasury & Asset Management functions at Group Level. Floatation of USD 100M Real Estate Fund (Mazaya Investment Portfolio).
