Diagnosing and solving supply chain problems
I was responsible for ensuring that the shipping and receiving processes run smoothly. This included resolving problems concerning logistics systems, imports and exports, transportation and customer issues on a daily basis.
Negotiating Transportation Rates and Services
I was in charge of acting as a liaison for corporate decision makers and relaying counteroffers back to superiors and to ensure all shipping endeavours remained on budget without compromising speed and efficiency.
Analyzing Metrics and Creating Reports

Create and Implement Shipping Polices and Procedures
I was responsible for creating the policies and procedures for all of the facilities under their supervision including proper protocol for operating all warehouse equipment, as well as compliance with health and safety regulations.
Plan, implement, and evaluate all operational function and its air/ocean/freight forwarding operations in Iraq
Develop operational objectives and ensure goals are aligned with overall business objectives.
Work with other teams and departments and within the global freight network to coordinate freight forwarding services.
Assist in the development of SOP’s and ensure SOP’s are being followed for all international shipments, rates, import/export documentation, and customer service.

• In charge of coordinating the storage, transportation and delivery of goods by various methods ranging from premier airfreight to break bulk shipments. My role was to oversee and liaise with colleagues to ensure stock is maintained and moved efficiently to clients who were primarily oilfield operators in Iraq.
• Analyze KPIs and improve entire supply chain procedure and work flow.
• Identify account needs, opportunities and key buying factors for existing customers, and formalize those into account plans and strategies for in time delivery.
