Job Responsibilities include budgeting, procurement, planning and implementation of all I.T. related hardware, software and related services of technology and IT solution necessary for business operations. Manage a cross function team to define business needs, identify and evaluate possible solutions and service levels agreements (SLA) / contracts. Managing development and implementation of approved solutions with IT staff, business representatives and vendors. Reducing human intervention by coding automation scripts and batch processing scripts. Overseeing systems training. Setting technology standards. Enforcing adherence to IT usage policies.
Job Description
* Prepare department quarterly budgets.
* Document Network infrastructure
* Lead projects from conceiving to design/ development and deployment.
* Train end users for the proper utilization of system(s) and applications.
* Setup, configure and deploy Windows and Linux desktops (operating systems, productivity software and ERP applications), servers, data-center equipment and security tools.
* Install, configure and manage Virtualization Servers VMWare and Hyper-V
* Install, configure and manage windows 2008/2012 servers and services (AD, DHCP, DNS, IIS, WSUS, WDS, RRAS, Hyper-V, Network Policy and Access Services, Print, Scan and Fax Services, Apache, etc.)
* Setup and Configure Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls for network connectivity between sites.
* Supervise troubleshooting, internal customer support and set/monitor internal SLAs.
* Maintain an understanding of complex business requirements and use IT industry knowledge and team facilitation techniques to lead the development of IT options and recommendations.
* Build and maintain internal and external relationships required to successfully execute IT related projects.
* Conduct needs analysis continuously for business projects involving IT
* Articulate the technical requirements for departmental IT initiatives.
* Project and manage enterprise portfolio of IT assets
* Manage relationships with third-party companies for service, support and product issues, including outsource, developers and other vendors
* Ensure that all information technology requirements are successfully managed within a limited budget.
* Hire and develop staff for all aspects of IT operation within the company.
* Contribute to the knowledge and organizational learning and mentoring of junior IT project managers
* Facilitate communication between departments and communicate IT-related issues to senior management as required.
* Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades.
* Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users
* Maintain knowledge of current advances in the industry. The incumbent is expected to advise management with regards to possible developments and innovations that may have potential benefit to company.
