Provide leadership in engineering discipline at programs and project levels; this includes overseeing the work of other
engineers as the extension of department leadership for the delivery of quality work on time.

* My style of project execution is based on knowing and mitigating all the risks in advance through a formal Risk
Analysis and strict monitoring of expenses against the budget and progress against the plan;
* Conduct multiple other functions including bid comparisons, evaluations and approval from subcontractors as well as
obtaining client approval on completion certificates and reviewing the contractor statement of completion;
* Management of the company portfolio and its prospective clients, and maintaining commercial & technical negotiations
with those clients, vendors and sub-contractors.

• Instaphone Pakcom limited is subsidiary of Milicom Group international operating cellular networks worldwide.
• My overall responsibility was to manage Rollout, operate and maintain Mobile Radio Network, site acquisition, site installation, commissioning and site building
Microwave network 15 GHz Ericson Radio:
• Successfully completed the design and implementation of microwave minilink network of south region of Pakistan. (Sind and Baluchistan). Achieved up to 99.999 % microwave network the availability.
Hyderabad city microwave Project:
• Installed the Ericsson microwave systems. Work ranged from planning and designing stage to commissioning and handover to operation.
First phase Cellular Network implementation:
• Carried out first initial Site surveys, site planning, optimization, site accusation surveys, site rollout, tower/ roof top monopole/Installation, commissioning and integration of BTS sites for amp system cellular network in Pakistan.
• Lead the BSS system (Ericsson RBS 882 and AMPS Cellular system) maintenance in south Pakistan (Sind and Baluchistan provinces).
Work salient features:
Staff management:
• To carry out time to time special assignments such as, implementation of new Employee Performance Appraisal System, conducting summer training programs for student. Arranging training programs for employees and trainees.
Deployment of the COW (Cell on wheels):
• Successfully deployed 100 Mobile shelters (COW) including their relocation from one place to another and commissioning of mobile shelters within a stipulated time.
Logistics and spare management and field support:
• Successfully write off the swap equipment’s of Motorola and Alcatel and dispatched them from Ooredoo group to Maldives Al watania for site expansions.
• Managed all logistic support, spare parts inventory and their procurement and successfully maintained the repair and return cycles for RAN network according to vender specified MTBF.
• Updated Site access database (developed in house) for keeping the record of all cell sites, Site configuration, sites equipment details, site plans and layouts.
Vender Coordination and contract evaluations:
• Responsible to prepare scope of work, tender evaluation and negotiation with vendor / contractors for Mobile shelters annual maintenance contract, network expansion and Vendor support for operation and maintenance.
Department coordination:
• Provided day to day coordination and support to other sections such as AC&DC, fire and security and building section, .NSS, transmission, microwave, power,
Network control center:
• Managing Network Management Center Radio (NMC-R): (Alcatel & Motorola). Managed NMC-R team, assign shift duties and follows up of trouble tickets. Network reconfiguration. Performance Management, Network Quality Configuration Management. Day to day operation to maintain the quality of the network.
Implementation of New Frequency plan of the complete network 2G network:
• Successfully completed the implementation of the new network frequency plan, execution drive testing, benchmarking, antenna parameters changing and site reconfiguration.
Work during 6th Doha Asian Games:
• In charge of Operation and maintenance and project coordinator of 2G and 3G network of all venues (e.g. Khalifa stadium, Gharrafa stadium, Al Saad stadium, Khalifa tennis, during Asian game 2006 awarded certificate of appreciation.
Network swap from Single vender (Motorola to Two venders (Motorola and Alcatel). 2G and 3G: Served as Project manager of network, swap of Motorola equipment to Alcatel equipment from northern region of Qatar and implementation of Alcatel equipment and redeployment of Motorola equipment in southern region of Qatar.
Network Swap from Two vendors (Alcatel and Motorola) to single vendor (Nokia Siemens):
• Served as Project coordinator swap from two vendors’ networks to single vender networks. This network, swap includes hot and cold swaps of 3000 cell sites at 700 locations with Antenna installations. Site reconfigurations were also done.
Indoor building solution:
• Managed indoor building solutions implementation, operation and maintenance vendor coordination and indoor antenna installation testing.
