1. To review project documents, blueprints, ascertain scope of works & establish clear understanding of client’s requirements in relation to trade discipline and nature of project.
2. To interpret & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specifications/BOQ.
3. Prepare Quantity take offs. Review and generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment.
4. Send RFQs to vendors/suppliers, sub-contractors & select the appropriate quotations and negotiate on basis of commercial, technical terms and field works issues.
5. Coordinate with project execution team to develop clear understanding of project scope during preparation of estimate.
6. Obtains accurate and up to date pricing information from databases, contractors and suppliers etc. to utilize in estimates.
7. Preparing commercial bid to estimate material, labor, erection & testing / commissioning cost including direct & indirect resources.
8. Receive tender addendum and make sure it is reflected in BOQ or Tender Adjustment Schedule.
9. Prepares cost reconciliation between two or more estimates and explains variance cost drivers.
10. Attend tender review meetings/site visits and provide clear concise reports to Estimating Manager so as to make up tender including any exclusions or assumptions made to enable a valued decision.
11. To prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates for MEP works according to the given projects specifications, authority regulations and drawings.
12. To review design options and recommend best solution based on Value Engineering Analysis.
13. Draft / review contract agreement in conjunction with contracts documents. Ensure agreed terms and conditions during the tender negotiation stage are explicitly clear in the contract agreement. Provide inputs to management pertaining of contract agreement against the tender documents.
14. Coordinating estimation & tendering activities, ensuring the timely, accurate cost information on which to base future bids for prospective projects. This includes compiling and analyzing current data on equipment, labor, supplies and related factors/conditions.
15. Material planning as per project requirement in coordination with project team for procurement including vendor identification, solicitation of offers, comparative bid analysis, price negotiations and order finalization.
16. Research and evaluates suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, supplier's reputation and history.
17. Preparation & compilation of the necessary documents, information & technical inputs required for the completion of tender documentation.

1. Installation & execution of mechanical equipments, accessories, pipe work & duct work as per project specifications & design/ drawings.
2. Technical & commercial evaluation of major equipments & accessories for HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting as per design & project specifications & short listing them for approval with client / consultant.
3. Attending Weekly progress meetings with Consultants & Main contractor.
4. Coordinating with Main Contractor, Consultant & Design team regarding the value engineering changes, variations etc.
