Research fellowship was awarded by GlaxoWellcome Pakistan to work on a research project leading to PhD degree.The work was carried out in the Research and Development deptt. of GlaxoWellcome. The dissertation entitled "Photolysis and Interaction of Thiamine HCl with Riboflavin in Aqueous Solution." During the course of study intensive training was acquired on instruments such as HPLC, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, IR, Conductivity meter,Refrectometer etc.and also on QC / QA and Production operations.
M.Pharm degree was obtained by working on a project entitled "Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of some Piperidine Derivatives." This was a 2 year research by course work program in which in the first year seven 700 level courses were conducted and in the second year dissertation was completed.
A four year B.Pharm degree was obtained by studying 152 credit hours courses ( 44 ; 3 cr. hr. courses, 4; 4 cr. hr. courses and 2; 2 cr. hr. courses). After the successful completion of courses a 200 hrs. training was conducted in industrial / hospital pharmacy.
High school (Intermediate) was passed by obtaining First division.
