WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT cum INVENTORY SPECIALIST.
(Duration: May 2016 to Apr 2020)

Perform acceptance, delivery, build-up and breakdown of cargo, courier and mail

Supervise team of porters for loading and unloading of ULDs while police screening and Control equipment operators (tractor drivers, forklift operators i.e.) for movement of ULDs to and from the aircraft.

Process all associated documentation manually and within automated systems (Sky chain) to enable either import or export to be performed as instructed.
Inspect, validate and count goods at every point of delivery, acceptance, build-up and breakdown ensuring that goods conform to relevant criteria and that they are dispatched / stored in accordance with principal requirements.
Perform manual data capture and automated data input in Sky chain.
Inspect and confirm validity of all associated documentation to ensure the effective movement of all cargo, courier and mail.
Liaise with government authorities such as customs or police as required to ensure the effective movement of all consignments.
Ensure of all times that the handling of shipments of dangerous goods fully comply with the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations and are loaded in accordance with the same.
