My background is uniquely bolstered by 2 years of rigorous inspection work in the oil and gas sector, which instilled a "zero failure" mindset that I apply to every stage of furniture production, from reviewing and approving technical drawings and inspecting all steel division activities, including cutting, bending, fabrication, welding, chemical pretreatment, powder coating to overseeing the upholstery division.
I take a hands-on approach to quality leadership, coordinating closely with production, design, and procurement teams to ensure every piece meets exacting standards for functionality and aesthetics and overall workmanship. Beyond performing final inspections, I take full ownership of the quality lifecycle from developing quality procedures and maintaining quality records, inspection reports, and test checklists to managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and investigating customer complaints to prevent recurrence. By identifying process improvements that reduce material wastage and rework, I consistently deliver high-quality results. • Implement QA/QC procedures atthe construction site
• Prepare Weld maps and ensure accurate fit-up of joints by inspecting and providing clearance for welding and
generating fit-up reports
• Conduct stage-wise inspection of welding, including Root pass visual & NDT, and Final weld Visual Test
• Compile daily welding reports and update welding summaries
• Perform DPT (Dye Penetrant Testing) as necessary and coordinate RT (Radiographic Testing) and DPT requests
