Provide Building Code analysis based on the international and local codes M-100, IBC, NFPA, SBC -Saudi Building Code-.
Advise designers on fire prevention criteria, as fire codes allows trade-offs between the provision of active (fire sprinklers, Smoke Alarm…etc.) versus passive fire protection (Fire barrier, smoke damper…etc.).
Provide design packages incompliance with all fire codes and standards including local standards such as SAES -Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards-.
Coordination in all levels, for instant with consultant companies whom accredited to Civil Defense if their approval is project’s and/or client’s requirement. And PE or CE if project for Saudi Aramco.
Communicate with subcontractors for any specialized fire protection systems including but limiting to: NOVEC-1230 system, WET chemical, Aerosol system...etc.
VE - value engineering, many group classifications of buildings -as per IBC- doesn’t require both Fire Alarm and Firefighting system to coexist.
For 1+ year assigned as Specialized Fire Protection Engineer - for FPI & MU in Saudi Aramco in Dhahran to provide technical assistant, and existing system full assessment.
Fire Protection Design Engineer - for many projects and power plants like Al-Wadjh Ext. I, Tabouk Ext. VIII power plants & Upgrading facilities onshore for Saudi ARAMCO.
Designing and installing all Fire systems in accordance to the applicable NFPA standard.
Referencing to Saudi ARAMCO (SAES-B-017, & SAES-B-019. e.g.), SEC codes (90-TMSS-3. e.g.).
Performing Hydraulic calculations for both Water / Gas based suppression systems.
Co-ordinate with procurement dept. to ensure that materials are purchased and delivered on time.
Ensure full compliance of project with specification and client requirements.
Service Engineer for Tower Cranes responsible of delivering parts and prioritizing the elements of Tower Cranes from store yards to projects sites where needed.
Assembling different types of Tower Cranes.
Connecting the Control signals i.e. I/O.
Responsible for Troubleshooting, & corrective maintenance in case of any breakdown.
Prioritizing Maintenance work based on production schedule and equipment availability.
Responsible for procuring all Tools related to maintenance.
