- Fulfills the role of a video/media specialist in the global Design and Media Services team and works to leverage Springer’s video strategy in marketing. Part of our ambitious goals is to use video, event filming, tutorials and multimedia to market Springer products and services. To foster these activities, lead and manage video/media marketing projects.
Participating in the development of all types of video/media and marketing projects, do all aspects of project management while supporting internal marketing clients and interacting with external agencies and vendors. This includes advising on new trends, innovation and new technologies to grow services in marketing with a strong focus on video/media. oversees the online video management platform for marketing and provides analysis and reporting.
Educational media specialists often work within the multimedia section of a school's library and go to classrooms as they are needed. Once there, they work alongside the teacher who has asked for the equipment. The specialist may do some additional teaching on the subject using the equipment as well.
