Duties:
• Manage commercial aspects, contractual issues and prepare the contractual correspondences
• Control of change management on the construction contracts
• Review, assess and issue recommendation on variations and other claims
• Manage the team of 9 quantity surveyors and 9 assistant quantity surveyors
• Finalize the Contractor’s Interim Payment Application and prepares the payment certificate and recommendation for client approval

Jeddah Air Port extension project
Duties:
• Assess the sub-contractor’s variation orders and prepare the recommendation
• Coordinating with site based QSs in order to gather the site progress for main contractor monthly payment
• Negotiating with client consultant representative during the interim payment submission
• Ensure the contractual obligations during the sub-contractor’s interim payment application
• Preparation of cost report
o Tender production, procurement, estimating, BoQ/schedule of rates production.
o Feasibility studies.
o Quantity take off for plumbing, fire fighting, HVAC, BMS, fire alarm, electrical power, lighting, structured cabling and extra low voltage system from relevant drawings with the coordination of specification and other contract documents and BOQ preparation.
o Developing rate break down analysis.
o Identify the variations, evaluation of variations & negotiate with the consultant.
o Final account measurement, preparation & agreement with Client.
o Claim preparation for extension of time and prolongation cost.
o Contractual and technical writing.
o Commercial report/cash flow forecasts.
o Cost plans, measurement/ variation analysis.
o Production and control of sub-contractors accounts.
o Preparing interim and final payment statement.
o Claim management, notification/substantiation.
o Installation of electrical systems such as, power systems (MDB, MCC, SMDB, bus bar, cable tray, trunking and DB fixing), lighting systems, fire alarm and public address system.
o Checking and certifying the material requisitions from site Engineers.
o Provisional sums analyses and finalizes.
o Monitoring the progress of work and prepare report.
o Co-ordination with Consultants/Client & Local Authorities.
o Attending the progress and commercial meetings.
Projects
Since July, 2008, have been in post contract work for:
• 74 Stories, world’s 11th tallest, office tower at Jumaira Lake Towers, MEP value 200 million AED and total value of 900 million AED , and Infrastructural works.
• 39 Stories Au and Ag Office towers at Jumaira Lake Towers, Dubai, MEP value 80 million AED
Project Consultant Quantity Surveyor (MEP), responsible for following
o Evaluation & Certification of Contractor’s & Consultant’s` Payment applications,
o Assessing and evaluating the contractual entitlement of the Contractor for Claims and Variations,
o Joint measurements of electrical, mechanical, security, and structured cabling ( telecom services) system services,
o Review and evaluate all documents regards on claim of payment submitted by the contractor to ensure that in proper format base in contract agreement with specified company procedure,
o Prepare detailed construction bill of materials for pre-construction and post-construction project such as mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) and also fire protection including documentation in support of financial cost Consolidate MEP Take-off and Delivered Quantity to Control and monitor the Delivered and Undelivered material,
o Review and when required, conducts joint inspection with the Consultant for the approval of variation order.

• Construction of 6 stories khaleel Shopping complex building in Colombo,
• Small scale housing schemes in Srilanka.
