• Assist functional units, the Multi-Functional Team (MFT) and senior management to integrate participatory and community-based approaches in the overall protection delivery strategy and operational procedures.
• Work with host communities to identify opportunities for national civil society involvement in improving the protection of persons of concern.
• Work with implementing and operational partners as well as with displaced and local communities to develop community-owned activities to address, where applicable, the social, educational, psycho-social, cultural, health, organizational and livelihood concerns as well as child protection and prevention and response to SGBV.

• Support SGBV/CP in identifying vulnerable people during counseling and field visits.
• Volunteering to help identify vulnerable refugees for submission to the Canadian Humanitarian Transfer Program, with phone calls and interviews.
• Volunteering to help identify vulnerable refugees for submission to the US resettlement program, in phone calls.

• Gender based violence and Child protection focal point - active SGBV field sub-working group member organization. The SGBV focal point commits to:
- Weekly attend and represent the SGBV Za’atari field sub-working group at the assigned district meetings,
- Regularly update the SGBV field sub-working group members and the district level members on the issues discussed;
- Document and share with the SGBV field sub-working group and the SGBV chair inputs in need of immediate follow-up and action;
- Share overall situation analysis i.e. needs, gaps and response on issues related to the SGBV at the district level and provide suggestion and recommendation for addressing those issues;
- Support coordination and integration of SGBV prevention and response initiatives.
• Facilitator for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) orientations for SGBV and CP in the Za’atari - for District-based protection Actors, Humanitarian Actors and Refugees committees.
