* Oversee client functions to ensure satisfaction.
* Solicit new and existing accounts to meet / exceed revenue goals through telephone outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
* Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
* Participate in daily business review meeting; pre-convention meetings, training and other catering sales related meetings as required.
* Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
* Attend community / social events and industry meetings.
* Develop / maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
* To project a positive and professional image to all contacts at all times.
* To advise the F&B Manager of guest comments or complains and to initiate a response.
* Continuously review and improve internal operations and processes within the department.
* Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations, food and alcoholic beverages, food service techniques and cost controls such as manpower, productivity, food cost and other expenses.
* To ensure that security of confidential company information as maintained.
