Responsibilities are as follows in the:

 Payment Unit
• Reconciliation of all the foreign suppliers’ balances.
• Preparing the transfers for all foreign suppliers on a monthly basis.
• Generating and Updating the Bank reports on daily basis.
• Prepare the bank transfers between accounts on a daily basis.
• Preparing the checks for all local suppliers on a monthly and weekly basis.
• Preparing the NSSF, VAT, Municipalty and Income Tax Payments.
• Preparing the Rent checks on time.
• Booking and Payment of Salaries .
• Checking the payables on monthly basis.
• Petty cash booking, replenishment, and control over the stores and head office.

 GL Unit
• Reconciliation of all the local suppliers’ balances, bank accounts balances, and Customer balances.
• Validating the sales of each shop and update the Sales Reports on daily basis.
• Computing and booking prepaid and accrued expenses and incomes for instance electricity/generator/taxes….
• Calculating and booking the royalty expenses for the foreign suppliers as per the franchise agreement.
• Calculating, validating and booking rent expenses as per the rent contracts.
• Validating and booking miscellaneous bank transactions for instance interest expenses / commissions on bank guarantees /bank charges /forex deals as per the contracts on monthly basis.
• Updating and following up on the loan balances.
• Monitoring and updating the assets and running depreciation expenses and amortization expenses.
• Following up on the account receivables accounts with the shops.
