Grant Thornton is one of the world's leading organizations of independently owned and managed accounting and consulting firms. These firms provide assurance and specialist business advice to privately held businesses and public interest entities.

Main responsibilities:
- Preparation of overall audit plan determining the expected scope and conduct of the audit.
- Communication with the clients to obtain an understanding of their business and discuss critical issues.
- Critical review of the risk assessment procedures and developing the audit approach.
- Reviewing the work carried out by the subordinate staff.
- Preparation of appropriate disclosures in the Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and Companies Ordinance.

My main achievements:
- Gained basic knowledge of audit while working with the experienced Audit Managers and Partners.
- Developed on my communication skills while interacting with clients belonging to different industries.

Reason for leaving: Relocating to Dubai to find an opportunity for working in an International Market.

- Reconciling bank, cash, receivables and payables accounts.
- Management of debtors and inventories.
- Maintaining customers’ accounts while checking on the approved credit control policies.

- Learnt the basics of reporting the key figures to the Management as desired.
- Built on my practical knowledge of budgeting and forecasting in real time.
- Gained knowledge of entering transactions and generating many kind of reports from the Accounting Packages by using Sage Peachtree extensively.
