My role at ALLIANCE is primarily to refine and manage the MEP BIM Team From Preliminary Designing to Shop Drawings Preparation. Our BIM system consists of the Revit Suite, Navisworks, and various Programming tools. I am responsible for ensuring Team completes the work before deadlines.
Secondary I have to ensure calculation for Mechanical and Plumbing are as per Code and Correct and check the Mechanical Designing in Wright soft, Equipment selection, Pressure drop Calcs, Plumbing Load Calcs and Riser Diagrams.
Finally I'm responsible for managing projects of my own and producing documentation / BIM deliverable for our clients as per LOD( LOD100 TO LOD400).
Preparing and checking Mechanical Load calculation, Designing Ducting Layouts, Plumbing load calculations, Plumbing Layout.
BIM Set Up(Include Revit Server and Revit Installation & training), Revit MEP Families preparation, file set Up, Work Set Preparation, Coordination in Navis within Services and with Structural and Architectural trades, Schedule preparation, as per LOD for permit set, DD set & CD set Requirement.
Lead a team of Highly skilled BIM Modelers and Designers for Preparing Coordinating & Verifying Mechanical & Plumbing Design( Domestic Water, Waste and Fire protection) as per AHRAE, IRC, IBC etc, including equipment selection, Building Information Modeling (BIM), BOQ and Site worthy SHOP DRAWINGS.
Equipment selection through Software as well as Manual, Pressure Drop calculation for AHU’s, Domestic Water Piping, Pumps & fans. Plumbing Designing of SOVENT Plumbing system and conventional system.
Preparing Equipment submittals, Drawing Sheet Index, and Designing & Coordination based on LOD of Project.
Attend weekly Project review meetings and report on mechanical work to Project Manager.
Monitoring the mechanical works for conformance with the contract documents.
QA & QC of BIM Model and CAD drafting as and when required.
Answering RFI’s related to MEP discipline.
