Working on various projects ranging from 110kV to 380kV in Eastern & Western Region of Saudi Arbaia (Jeddah, Makkah, Taif & Dammam)
- Extensive knowledge about safe work practices inside substation.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety committee meetings and safety training's on a daily, weekly, monthly basis as required.
- Supervise all on-site activities by monitoring the work performed; the material incorporated, and resource management including manpower and equipment.
- Supervise quality control and safety matters on the site.
- Develop periodical progress report (weekly and monthly basis).
- Immediately report any Non - conformances, corrective action reports or safety violation slips issued to the Project engineer verbally and by hand written report copied to the HSE department.
- Liaise with Project manager with tool box talk’s topics and material received from HSE office.
- Chair Project internal site safety meetings including sub - contractors HSE representative. Prepare and distribute the minutes to all concern and copy to HSE office.
- Liaise as necessary with site staff on matter concerning HSE.
- Liaise with clients and consultant on site issues regarding HSE matters and notify to HSE office in writing.
- Attend Project HSE Coordination meetings.
- Actions track the HSE actions raised through minutes of meetings and report to the Sr. Project -Manager and Sr. HSE Officer HSE actions that exceed the agreed action time.
- Expedite the closing out of any Non Conformances or Corrective actions through the construction group as a result of inspection or audit carried out.
- Conduct daily safety inspections to monitor works against documented safe system of work / Permit to work.
Highly motivated, well organized and pro-active individual, with extensive experience in Health Safety & Environment industry. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Have a natural problem-solving technique. Responsible for providing HSE support and ensures effective implementation of Integrated Health, Safety, Environmental policies and procedures during operations, providing HSE support to the well site supervisors. Furthermore monitoring and ensuring that all operational safety controls are compiled to reduce the risks at all well sites. Observing, logging and ensuring identified unsafe acts/conditions are closed-out in there allocated timescale. Completing and submitting a Monthly HSE project performance report. Providing information, technical advice and support to the project team on HSE, including standards, codes of practice etc. Monitoring project incidents to ensure they have been properly investigated and appropriate and timely action has been initiated to prevent a recurrence. Conducting an ‘Incident Review’ of all significant incidents and issue a full report to the HSE Manager.
