1. Perform Operational, Financial, Compliance and integrated internal audit engagements as per the audit plan.
2.Lead audit engagements by preparing the work program, preliminary risk assessment and testing of internal controls.
3. Prepare draft audit report and discuss the findings with the process owners.
4. Conduct follow-up of the engagements performed.
5.Other tasks as assigned.
- Preparing and executing of the annual Internal Audit Plan
- Conducting any special assignments and reviews considered necessary
- Assisting in making recommendations to the management from to time
- Monitoring all the day-to -day accounting transactions
- Checking the bank reconciliations on monthly basis
- Checking all employee related payments
- Checking the payroll prepared on a monthly basis
- Checking all the supplier accounts on a monthly basis with supplier statements
- Analyzing the expenses and payments on monthly basis
- Preparing stock reconciliation on monthly basis
- Conducting surprise audit of departments
- Ensuring that audits conducted are consistent with corporate/management risks and objectives
- Assisting management in formulating risk management strategies and related policies
- Communicating audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with management
- Conducting follow-up on the agreed upon procedures
- Providing assistance to external auditors during the annual external audit
