First mentioned the combination of selected techniques for the resolution steps after collecting data. In the first technique, AHP-G, the final weight of the failure probability and the consequences of failure for each asset were identified. Second step was to evaluate to prioritize all possible failure modes in order to finally choose the most appropriate maintenance strategy for each failure mode. The techniques selected for this evaluation were three WASPAS-G, MULTIMOORA-G, and EDAS-G techniques, because these techniques are a fast and functional way of HMCDM. In the third step, the optimal maintenance and repair strategy was performed for each of the failure modes using the three techniques TOPSIS-G, COPRAS-G, ARAS-G.
In this treatise, systems that were repairable and non-repairable were separated using the system boundaries. By demonstrating that MFOP is a reliable metric relative to MTBF, it has been shown that the concept of MFOP not only succeeds in the petrochemical field but also can add measurable value in terms of optimizing maintenance activities.
