Project: Development of Muscat International Airport, Muscat, Oman
• Completed 100% of Civil & Architectural works at Forecourts, Multi Level Car parking structures and Traffic Concourse (Area 2 and 3 of MC3 contract) buildings, by supervising and ensuring the works are according to Bechtel standard work procedures, approved method statements and IFC documents.
• Ensured the reworks are minimized to 1%, to meet Bechtel’s value of ‘doing right the first time’.
• Reduced the accident / incident rate at site by 76% (from previous index), by constantly monitoring the safety of crew, leading People Based Safety team (PBS), participating in periodical safety tours, taking actions to achieve Zero Accident Target (ZAT) and meeting Bechtel value of Safety & Health.
• Prepared 4-week work schedule, daily work plans and assigned tasks to various construction crews to meet the master schedule. Prepared construction reports and quantity updates for the client, to meet the contractual requirements.
• Coordinated with MEP JV representatives, subcontractors, third-party contractors, Bechtel design and planning teams to ensure the schedule for all construction, testing & commissioning, CEM and final handover dates are met.
• Prepared responses to RFI's from consultants and contractors on behalf of the client as well as RFI and letters to external government agencies, consultants and contractors, and effectively acted as a single point contact between the external and internal stakeholders.
• Prepared and maintained the RTRFI/RFI logs and all the reference technical material documentation on ASTAD server which enabled the management to quickly retrieve the documents in an effective manner.
• Monitored quality of AutoCAD reference files and ensured the as-built drawings submitted by the client’s contractors are incorporated in the reference files; which has helped to produce most updated quality drawings which required little or very few revisions. In addition, monitored progress and quality of design works of consultants and interfaced with other departments / agencies to ensure the project objectives are met.

• Directed all construction and project management activities as per the scope of works and ensured the objectives were accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
• Assessed and reviewed the project Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to determine accurate status of project, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain project on target. Project 2 and 3 were completed well before the stipulated timeframe and Project 1 was completed on time.
• Reviewed proposals, tenders, civil / structural drawings and other technical documents and ensured the specification requirements were met. Reviewed and approved As-Built drawings, O&M Manuals, Building maintenance procedures and method statements as per the contract requirements and to client's satisfaction.
• Managed changes to engineering scope and assisted in obtaining written client approval on all changes before proceeding with work. Reviewed periodic status reports prepared by the team. Prepared and presented reports for Clients.
• Provided staff with skills training programs, with the aim of increasing technical skills and personnel development. Ensured the team had effective resources to perform with expected efficiency and productivity. This approach had effectively drove the employees to continue with the organization for a longer period, returning their acquired knowledge to improve the quality of the projects undertaken on a lesser budget.
• Complied with all statutory requirements connected with the implementation of project, and ensured proper closeout of project including transmittal of final documentation to the client. Complied with the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of accidents.
Project: New Doha International Airport Project, Doha (Qatar)
• Ensured 100% of assigned works are completed according to the quality norms and contract requirements; for 3 Telecommunication Interface Buildings, 2 Fire Stations, GSE Maintenance Facility, Facility Maintenance Facility, Motor Transport Workshop, 2 Administration Buildings, Medical Center, General Aviation Terminal & Hangar and Solid Waste Handling Facility.
• Reviewed and approved method statements, Inspection and Test plans and other technical documents from the contractor, by reducing the maximum turnover time to 7 days (compared to the contractual liability of 14 days). In addition, conducted technical assessments at site and prepared reports to ensure conformity with project specifications are always met.
• Restructured the interface management between internal departments and various contractors for efficient coordination of site activities and proactively took decisions for clash resolution of utility structures and access roadways which had considerable positive effects on the schedule.
• Conducted ESH assessments at site, took lead of People Based Safety Program (PBS) & carried out review meetings which resulted in reduction of 'negative ESH observations' to 8.9% on average, which is well below the contractual limit of 20%.

• As the designer's Civil Engineer in charge, reviewed contractor’s submissions, which include tenders, shop drawings, as-built drawings, O&M Manuals and standard operation procedures and advised changes if necessary. All time lines were met with 0% delay, and ahead of schedule at many occasions.
• Prepared infrastructure master plans and structural design drawings of airfield structures including airfield pavements for Projects 2, 4 and 5 mentioned above. In addition, prepared layouts for temporary site structures and land use plans to meet the contractor's requirements.
• Prepared cost estimates, specifications, feasibility study reports, schedules and audit reports for infrastructure buildings and service structures for Projects 1 and 3. These studies and outputs were later used for further development.
Project: 1. Master planning of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi
2. Development of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad
• Associated with chief master planner of GMR DIAL, in preparation of their master plan, major development plan for phase 1 and land use plans. Updated, archived & maintained the plans and tracked changes according to client and other stake holder requirements. All records were maintained with 100% accuracy and retrieved whenever required.
• Reviewed requests for land use and obstacle clearance from contractors and other stakeholders after checking against International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) safety requirements and other master plan requirements.
• Assisted in interface management and coordination of construction activities between the operating airport and the airport development team without causing any disruption of services.
• Communicated with various government agencies like Airport Authority of India, BCAS, Customs, Immigration, Delhi Metro etc and assisted in making various presentations on behalf of the client.
• Inducted to new employees on master plan and development plans
• Reviewed all technical documents submitted by the contractors which include drawings, specifications and method statements, for Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Project's site office construction.
• Represented client for site preparation works and construction of site office complex. Carried out site visits and performed technical and safety assessments. Prepared daily reports and ensured the project plan is implemented according to schedule which enabled the construction team to move to the site office on time.

Member of project management team in execution, for 7 individual geowall construction and soil stabilisation projects for National Highway Authority of India.
