Direct and coordinate strategic planning, organization and execution of the HSE Management System, client relations, risk mitigation strategies, Plant & warehouse audits, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, governmental representation, external committee involvement, Coordinating CSR Programs , budgeting, forecasting, subcontractor pre-qualifications and HSE training • Conducting Gap Analysis to assess the current compliance of Legal, OHSAS 18001 and to review the HASEMS in accordance to the current requirements • Responsibilities of implementation of Integrated Management System throughout Company operations • Support and coordinate with Corporate HSE Manager in strategic planning, organization and execution of the HSE Management System including resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, Plant audits, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, Governmental representation, external committee involvement, budgeting, forecasting • subcontractor Management • Planning & Conducting In-House & External HSE Trainings • Study and Comply the requirements of Legal/Municipality/Civil Defense Health & Safety requirements different aspects of production, warehouse, Fleet & Staff Accommodation • Liaison and coordination with Municipality, Civil Defense and other legal requirements for facilitating the inspection & audits •
As a member of Steering Committee of the HSE management, actively participated in gap analysis, development, implementation and administration HSE Management System (Integrated ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 & ISO 9001 Management System) • Implementation of Etisalat’s corporate HSEMS at it all facilities & external FM Projects in Dubai region • Schedule and Conduct HSE Training Programmes - Preparation of training materials, conduct Induction Training to all newly joined staffs in Dubai region and periodic Orientation trainings • Emergency preparedness - Prepare emergency Plan, Conduct Evacuation Drill and coordinate Emergency preparedness training with Civil Defense • HSE Inspection - Conduct periodic HSE Inspection at all Etisalat facilities in Dubai region and report the site condition to the concern department and advise corrective and preventive measures • Hands on experience with Maximo - Asset Management software - KPI Compliance and Advise corrective & preventive measures by creating Service Requests through Maximo • Sub Contractor Management - Evaluation of contractors’ prequalification documents, project HSE Plans, Risk Assessment, certifications and evaluate & assess the HSE Performance of contractors • Audit Scheduling - Programmes Preparation for the internal audits, and prepare yearly external audits • Incident/Accident Management - Incident Investigation, submit the report to the Management via HSE Manager and monitor Corrective Actions • Investigate the theft cases and report to the Police and liaise with government/legal department for the insurance claim • Hazard Management - Identify the hazard through various technics, Establish elimination, prevention and implement control measures for the management of occupational health hazard and Machinery hazards • Implement the Safety violation & appraisal system • Permit to Work Management - Tracking of all work Permit system and inspect the work locations & amenities prior to start the activity and after the activity for Hot Works / Height Works / Mast & Tower Access / Mechanical or Moving Equipment / Excavation/ confined Space Entry Permits • Waste Management - Act a main role in selection of the contractor for waste management system and monitor the performance • Management of Security Guards - Additional Responsibility of interview, deployment and supervision of one hundred and ten security guards in different location of Dubai and NE regions •

Performing technical and administrative duties pertaining to all safety and risk management activities and programs in the factory and site • Directly reporting to management & Hitachi Safety Department and monitoring the safety performance of sub contractors like ETA • Apply the Active & Reactive monitoring method to prevent accident • Monitor Safety at workplace and stop any operation that endanger life or property • Review the work Method Statement and guide the Project Management to prepare the Task Risk Assessment in accordance with the Method Statement • Assist the department to monitor the OHSMS compliance with OHSAS 18001 elements • Inspect work locations and ensure that safe work practices are carried out in all operations • Conducting safety training /Awareness programs in periodically • Emergency Preparedness and conducting evacuation drills / Mock drills • Conducting frequent safety audits for all type of facilities in the plant, recommending corrective actions and monitoring the results • Accident Management: implement the Reactive method, Investigation, Epidemiological Analysis, and Reporting to all concerned • Implementation of Lock out and Tag out procedures • Inspection of Scaffolding and MEWP equipments •
