• I have been deeply involved with financial due diligence in my current role for the group, for the purpose of potential M&A activity. Did Due diligence for all the group entities with the help of consultants.

 To provide consulting services to the senior level finance management ( Finance Director, Controller etc ) of the company.

 Transferred to sales and marketing division to give and provide more strength to the management accounting and decision support process in the division with the aim of active involvement in the new reporting framework which was being developed and was to be implemented through out the whole division.
 Provide decision support to the Divisional Finance manager - sales and marketing and the at the same time involvement in the day to day decision making process in the division.
 Manage a team of accounting professionals (financial accountants, forecast analysts, management reporting accountants, ) within the division and manage the day to day responsibility with the help of this team.

 Investment Appraisal and Investment Analysis for the division and reporting on the post Investment Anlaysis results.
 Budget preparation for the division and work with other managers to set the budget deadlines and ensure adherence to these deadlines by all.
 Mentoring and succession planning for various finance positions with the division.
 Guide and coach the sub ordinates for them to achieve their full potential so that they can achieve their carrier objectives.

 Managing team of cost and management accountants in corporate finance responsible for corporate planning & reporting and costing activities and variance analysis activities with the help other divisions (Farming, Operations and Sales and Marketing).

Managing the finance and controlling function in the region and supporting decision making process
Main tasks where:
The provision of relevant, timely and accurate information and advice to senior management in carrying out the decision making on various time scales.
Resource the regional office finance function.
Ensure that the regional activities are performed in compliance with the FIS policies and procedures.
Continuous review and improvement of the internal control systems within the region and quarterly review audit file related documents.
a. Oversee the preparation of daily, monthly, annual, and other periodic financial statements and reports.
b. Review of actual performance against budget with senior executives. Proactively involve during such reviews in order to help the region achieve its various targets.
c. Presentation of regional results at the executive meetings and monthly meetings.
d. Coordinate the annual audit. Ensures that accounting records and reports are in compliance with company and country regulations.
e. Active participation during the preparation and control of operational budgets.
f. Ensure effective financial internal controls for the Department and the Company. Continually evaluate established policies and procedures and advise to updates or modifies them as necessary.

Project handled
I was involved extensively with the development and implementation of extensive KPI system which became the backbone of the regional reporting framework.
Was also supporting for benefit realisation of SAP and was also involved improvements in the reporting capabilities of SAP for the organisation.
Was an integral part of re organising various business processes within the organisation.

 On Joining Almarai I was chosen a part of SAP project Team. During that period my responsibilities were working in the FI and CO module of SAP along with the Habit Consulting Group UK.
 I was part of business process re engineering which was part of SAP implementation and contributed towards simple, effective and efficient work process.
 Was responsible for configuration of SAP which take into account our business processes and finance processes and resolution of business and implementation issues.
 Was responsible for developing and testing and user acceptance testing of SAP.
 Was responsible for developing user training course for finance and controlling and some other closely related modules (Production, Material Management, sales and distribution).
 Played an important role in identification of common finance processes within divisions and putting them together within one team of finance team- Shared services which brought effectiveness within these work processes and brought tremendous savings of cost.
 Prepared standard operating procedures and set clarity of roles of v different persons and teams/ divisions for various areas of SAP for business, like Budgeting in SAP, Master Data creation - Material Master, Vendor Master, SKU and product Hierarchy Maintenance, Profit Cenre and Cost centre Maintenance, New SKU in SAP etc.

Responsible for the treasury function within the company.
 Maintenance of cash position and liquidity of the company and at the same time ensure optimum utilization of liquidity. Cash flow forecasting and cash flow analysis to ensure these objectives.
 Maintain and manage all the main corporate accounts and ensure maintain close relationship with the main banks of the company.
 Oversee bank reconciliations of the main accounts and ensure weekly bank reconciliations are done throughout all the branches and depots.

 Financial management by options, swaps, forward contracts and management of loans with various banks.
 Manage foreign payments on time such as advertising and marketing costs and related tax issues.

 Day to day reporting duties to CFO and the Treasury Manager- Asia Pacific Region.
 Was also involved heavily in introduction of ABC costing system within the costing and management accounting system for identification and better control of cost drivers and related decision making to ensure better cost management.

I worked in the sales accounting at the branch level on my commencement of training and handled all the activities of sales accounting from basic ledger entries, claims, sales tax, C&FA reports, and departmental budgets, various provisions, debtor control management, insurance claims, accounts and financial closings at month ends etc.
 Worked in corporate banking team where I handled bank reconciliation of main accounts, cash flow projections, maintaining close relation with the banks, and maintenance of schedules for balance sheet for cash in hand, cash at bank, other deposits, icy loans etc.
 Worked with two member team for financialmanagement where I handled work which includes management of finances of company, through swaps, international loans, best options for cash deposits, ICD،¦s, investment appraisals, fund management.
 Worked on finalization of balance sheet & P&L account, and was also responsible for marinating the schedules for various items on balance sheet for audit purpose. The responsibility also includes to work or liaises with the external auditors and to coordinate with them during the yearly external audit.
 I worked with the costing & Management Accounting team, and handled day to day costing exercises, and management accounting work.
Played active role in finalizing yearly budgets for various activities and functions of the organization.
 Handled reporting to the parent company on monthly basis with various reports like sales flash reports, contribution reports, enterprise information reports, etc.
 I was also involved with the scope of FI_CO of SAP in which company was doing a scope analysis as I had gone through SAP training.
