I am working as a Senior Manager Assurance Services with PwC UAE. During this tenure, I have had the opportunity of being involved in statutory audits, review engagements, special assignments internal audits and IFRS consultations / reportings.
I was also seconded from PwC as the Head of Finance at National Reference Laboratory (“NRL”) for a period of 9 months where I was responsible for the entire finance function for NRL including revenue and receivables and various reporting requirements. NRL is a Mubadala Healthcare initiative, created in partnership with and operated by Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp), one of the world's largest and most experienced clinical laboratory operators.
My experience consists of executing external audits as a team leader managing multiple engagements with large teams. Industries worked on include oil and gas, aviation, healthcare, manufacturing and trading, Construction, Pharmaceuticals, Entertainment, etc.
In addition to this, I have also been involved in the preparation of policies and procedure manuals for Civil Aviation Authority and Pakistan Steel Mills in Pakistan and internal audits of Pakistan International Airlines and Jang group of Companies (largest media agency in Pakistan).
