I'm working as Dynamics CRM Business Analyst in a majort transformation project at AXA Insurance Gulf which involves 6 countries and 850 users.
My day to day activities includes coordination with business, IT and vendor teams for project planning & rollout, gather and analyze business requirements, suggest optimal solutions to Business & IT (gap analysis), prepare system specifications, manage project scope and requirements, prepare use cases and process flows, validate implemented solutions, system rollout & Business/IT change management including user adoption planning, defining training needs and strategy, training end users and measuring and reporting on each deliverable. I’m responsible to ensure that the timelines and scope are met with good quality delivery to meet business requirements and expectations.
My major deliverables include detailed system specifications with data model, business rules, validation rules, workflows, integration analysis, data migration rules, system design requirements, IT change management, system rollout plan, business cases, business process design, business process re-engineering, solution feasibility analysis, business rollout plan, business change management, user training and user adoption.
I am running an account on Freelancer.com since Feb 2008. It started as part of individual learning and training initiative but it became the source of my bread and butter for many years.
I have completed many projects and always have more than one role at a time (pre-sales, business analyst, architect, project manager, implementer, customizer, support etc.).
I am mainly involved in solutions build on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint and DotNetNuke. I have hands-on experience with Real Estate Solutions, Web Hosting Solutions, Document Management Solutions, ERP Solutions, Education Solutions, Marketing Solutions, Integration Solutions and Custom Enterprise projects development built on .Net platform. My main roles are Pre-Sales, Business Analyst and Project Manager.

Amlaki is a Real Estate software solutions provider company with focus on properties, facilities and land management. In Amlaki, we follow Waterfall project management methodology. As a part of team, my responsibilities include gather and analyze client’s requirements and coordinate with business and technical teams to implement the required enhancements and changes to the Applications. I am also responsible to test the implementation and make sure it is ready as per the required business and design before UAT.
I am involved in both pre-sales and after-sales activities. Some of the major activities are requirement feasibility analysis, on site requirement gathering, change impact analysis, integration analysis, business process mapping, project documentation, application modeling, use cases, test cases, resource scheduling, performance monitoring, and effort & cost estimation. I am also involved in project planning and management.
One of the major projects I’m working with is Tawtheeq (Land, Properties, Contracts and PMCs Management). This project is a part of the regulatory initiative by Department of Municipal Affairs, Abu Dhabi to regulate the real estate market. The other projects I'm involved in are Cornerstone ERP and ARMS.
I am also working as Technical Consultant on Auraportal Helium BPM product by AuraportalME (a sister company of Amlaki) to help its clients understand and overcome business process challenges using this BPM tool.
Streamline Solutions is Services Company providing business management and training services to private and government sectors. As a Software Consultant, my major responsibilities were to correctly map business with the technology (business analysis practices), design state-of-the-art application architecture based on the forecasted business targets and application usability (application architecture practices), tactfully plan the project modules and deliverables, and successfully implement and deliver the project by introducing best practice workflows and satisfy the customers by implementing post implementation support practices (project management practices). At Streamline, I led a team of designers, developers and analysts, and implemented Agile project management methodology and achieved 100% success rate in managing multiple projects at a time. Some of the projects I worked with are Airline Documents Management Solution build on SharePoint which is fully customized solution for Airline industry, Roots Inspire ERP for schools system which is a custom build ERP system specifically for Education sector, Performance Management system for PTCL which is a fully custom solution built specifically for telecommunication industry.
Machine Solutions (Machsol) is a provider of web and application hosting management solutions and services to private and government sectors. As an Operations Manager at Machine Solutions, I was responsible for company’s overall operations. This includes management of standards, policies, procedures, documentation, procurement, installation and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware and software.
Besides I was head of technical support for MachPanel which is a very famous hosting management solution developed specifically for Web and Application hosting industry.
I instigated my carrier at Machine Solutions (Machsol) as a Technical Support Engineer. My responsibilities were Planning, setup, deployment and configuration of server’s infrastructure, MachPanel and extensions. Troubleshoot issues related to deployment, configuration, backup and restore of Windows Servers, AD, DNS, IIS, Security Policies, Firewalls, SQL servers, Exchange servers, Dynamics CRM servers, SharePoint servers etc. Maintenance and upgrade of client’s servers, hosting environment and applications. Work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. Backup / Restore of internal servers, repositories etc.
