 Responsible for establishment of National Environmental Quality Standards and their implementation in Industries, commercial activities and on Road Activities.
 Played major role in strengthening of the Pak EPA Laboratory. Purchase of laboratory equipments through grant-in-aid from international donor agencies including Canadian International Development Agency and Japan International Cooperation Agency
 Carried out air quality monitoring of second largest city of Pakistan viz Lahor to asses the impact of mobil as well as stationary sources.Particulasrly with SPM and vehicular emission including anthropogenic activities.
 Jointly carried out SPM2.5 and SPM10 sampling for mega cities of Rawalpindi and capital of Pakistan with Japan International Cooperation Agency to develop CLEAN AIR PAKISTAN PROJECT (CAP)of amounting 30 billion alongwith the installation of fix air monitoring stations .
 Supervised the analytical research in Pak-EPA Laboratory by a team of chemists, chemical technicians and technologists.
 Supervised Korean volunteers to carry out wastewater quality monitoring in Islamabad under Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) funded project.
• Trained the Laboratory team in the use of modern analytical equipment for analysis of sample and data obtained from various sources including industries, municipalities, water resources and other natural locations from all over the country for conformity with the National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS).
• Implemented National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS) and advised the stakeholders about conformance with the NEQS in respect of conventional pollutants.
• Worked as Pakistani counterpart with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) expert.
• Monitored the affluent discharge from industrial units in the federal capital Islamabad and other locations across the country.
• Advised the stakeholders on implementation of Pakistan Environmental Protection Act, 1997.
• Formulation of Rules and Regulations under Pakistan Environmental Protection Act, 1997 with consultation of FPCCI, Public sector and private sector.
• To coordinate among all provincial environmental protection agencies of Pakistan and international agencies viz. UNEP, SACEP, GTZ, CIDA, GEF, UNDP, JICA, UNIDO and coordination of different missions executing the projects of environment in Pakistan. Investigative studies and surveys assigned either on public complaints or suo moto actions for public interest.
• Chairperson of Federal Environmental Monitoring Team for Federal Industrial Estate and monitoring with reference to pollution management and effective installation of abetment technology in industries.
• Investigation and research of impacts of brick kilns’s emission with GTZ.

• To carry out the damage assessment for watershed, water resources, forest, wildlife, land slides and ecosystem degradation, volume of debris dumped into rivers.
• To coordinate with all line departments in earthquake affected area of about 30, 000 Sq KM comprising of 9 Districts.
• To develop plan for the protection of two mega water reservoir due to siltation and landslides after earthquake.
• To make the cost estimation of the rehabilitation of the all natural resources with sustainable approach.
• To introduce the environmental guidelines and checklists for developmental projects.
• To develop the projects by translating the environmental strategy into implementation format with consultation of line departments.
• To identify the international donors for different projects with integrated approach.
• To develop training modules and conduct workshops for environmental sensitization.
• Introduction of alternate source of energy for forest conservation and health promotion.

To conduct Environmental Impact Assessment and Initial Environmental Examination of Gas Exploration operation of Neshpa Field of 350 Sq Km, Qadirpur Gas Field for 3-D seismic operation and supervision of exploration operation.
To conduct EIA of Capacity Enhancement of Qadirpur Gas processing plant and its implementation at plant site.
To implement Environmental Management plans of Chanda Gas Field and disposal of drilling pits.
Environmental and safety inspections of Bobi Gas Field, Sanghar-Sindh for environmental and safety compliances.
To monitor the air emissions from flaring and venting during processing of oil and gas in different plants with production of 180-500MMCFD/Day with revenue generation of US $ 1.17 million/day. To Conduct Health, Safety and Environmental Audit of oil and gas exploration operations with environmental concerns and air quality management.
To review oil and gas exploration projects with environmental concerns in consultation with geologists and Health, Safety and Environment professionals.
To implement International and national Guidelines for Operational Safety, Health and Environmental Management (Petroleum Exploration & Production Sector) in oil and gas exploration operation projects of the Company.
To prepare and implement environmental mitigation plans for air quality in project areas.
To assist different departments of OGDCL for trouble shooting plans with reference to HSE.
To prepare training modules and need assessment for effect implementation of Environmental Management Plan.
To carry out training Programme for field staff and officers specially engineers appointed under categories of mechanical, civil, drilling, electrical and environmental and placed at Oil & Gas Training Institute, Islamabad.
Submission of reports to EPAs for environmental approvals and compliances report.To conduct public hearings for EIA studies in respective project area including Chanda Gas Field, Qadirpur Gas Field.
To prepare TORs for different consultants to be involved into conducting environmental and technical studies.
Supervision of students from UET-Lahore from Geological and environmental engineering departments with their placement in different field .
