• Installation and commissioning of MONORAIL CRANE.( 4t, 3t, 2t)
• Testing and Commissioning of 34.5kV (GIS), 4.16kV and 400V switchgears.
• Scheme check and functional test of switchgears.
• Testing of Transformers, Current Transformers ( OMICRON) and Potential Transformers.
• Precommissioning test of circuit breaker using Primary Injection and Secondary Injection.
• Testing of Numerical relays for different types of protections and adjusting the settings according to the client requirements.(Ex: Overcurrent, Undervoltage, Busbar Differential, Transformer Differential, Thermal Overload, Earth Fault)
• Testing of Busbar ( High pot, Contact resistance ).
• Testing of Digital and Analogue Meters.
• Monitored and reported work progress at site and preparing technical reports for all the testing activities.
• Installation and commissioning of MCC, Level sensors, Proximity switches,
Speed sensors, Solenoid Valves, MOVs, Pressure switches.
• Cable routing, pulling and termination.
• Installation of Instruments, JB’s and Panels.
• Installation of Grounding and Lightning system.
• Supervise the installation of the LV/MV panel board, Switchboard, Conduit and Fitting Boxes.
• Supervise the Installation of Fire Alarm circuit and Communication Network.
• Insulation Resistance Test, High pot Test and loop checking of MV, HV, LV
and Control cables.
Perform Enrgization, Isolation on systems and apparatus assigned.
• Communicate with control room regarding local operation.
• Isolation and Normalising Transformers, switchgears, panels, motors.
• Examine Conductors, Power Transformers, Feeders and all connected devices
For any faults.
• To ensure that the system / equipment has been returned to a state of operational readiness (e.g. all guards and safety devices are installed prior to the completion of work activities).
• Inspection and Clearing of Punch lists.
• Design of power system layout including load current calculations, voltage drop calculations, cable selection, circuit breaker selection, transformer selection, UPS selection, Relay settings.
• Closed loop testing of all control and protection system and monitoring the signal at SCADA and LDC.
• Monitoring control panel wiring, termination and cable routing and cable tray installation.
• Solo Run Test on Motors and Highpot Test on Cables.
• Assisted control room operator for operation activities of the GAS TURBINES,
HRSG AND STEAM TURBINES.
COMPLETED BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING WITH HONOR'S FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF CALICUT
