Engaged on strength of extensive and in-depth engineering and projects experience with one of the largest poultry companies in the world. Coordinated project management with country-level leadership across Asia as well as with the Singapore Regional HQ in setting up poultry factories and their machinery in different Asian countries. Managed range of Engineering projects across different phases - installation, testing & commissioning and operations go-live. Ensured projects’ alignment with overarching business strategy to maximise return on assets. Supported Sales with technical information and provided input into bids for various projects.
Defined and oversaw engineering management, transformation and continuous improvement of asset integrity, reliability, and maintenance of the plant’s processing factory, rendering plant, further processing plant, water treatment facilities, feed mills, farms, catching team and projects. Drove zero business disruption to manufacturing process equipment, critical business operations and zero lapse in safety and compliance. Developed and implemented planning, tracking and reporting tools and provided project management for departmental initiatives. Determined project and maintenance CAPEX plans and budgets.
•Contributed more than US$ 10M in annual profit through more than 30 plant efficiency improvement projects.
•Helped capture millions of dollars in annual profits through value addition projects such as:
•Bulk Grain Handling. US$ 120M, 160K ton capacity bulk grain handling facility, the largest in the Middle East. Comprised of eight 15K ton capacity silos, two 20K ton capacity soya sheds, loading and unloading capacity of 1K tons per hour.
•Feed Mill. US$ 40M feed mill with 75 tons per hour production capacity and storge of 80K tons of raw materials and 6K tons of finished product.
•New Poultry Processing Plant. Led development from scratch to final handover of 2 processing lines, each with a capacity of 7K+ birds per hour.
•New Cut Up Line. Increased capacity with 6K birds per hour of Meyn.
•SP2 Automatic Sorting & Packing Line. Multi-head conveyor line.
•Reduced plant breakdown by more than 90% through increased machine productivity with an increment of A Grade’s chickens from B Grade Chickens.
•Captured significant savings of up to US$ 8M through improved inventory control. Likewise performed production and line rework analysis, line balancing, inventory controls and aligned material management practices to international guidelines.
•Rolled out the Manufacturing Sector Plants’ Machineries Data Management System leading to more connected, efficient and visible maintenance and efficiency records.
•Led the successful upgrade and renovation of multiple buildings, grounds and farms; improved the wastewater treatment zone and directed water conversation projects.
•Rolled out continuous improvement methods such as TPM, 5S and Six Sigma.
