• Actions: o Build a company from scratch based on an business insight and consumer trends
o Create the business plan and the platform architecture from a functional angle.
o Convince a developer, a marketer and 3 experienced professionals (a tech company CEO, a CFO and a restaurant chain MD) to join the team.
o Identify internal and external skills to develop the platform (java, amazon, html5, and css)
• Results: o Prototype launched in January 2013 (3 months after the project start)
o Fully functional platform in June 2013.
o Active social media ecosystem with Meetup, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest feeds.

Nov 2011/Sep 2012: Group Head /Product Owner Maps at European Directories London UK
• Challenges: o The platform serving 7 Operating companies I inherited was complex and unstructured with over 23 different suppliers, outdated mapping, low performance and an expensive in-house hosting.
o Competition for resources and power between each Opco and their fears about centralizing their product, and losing grips on them, made the challenge even bigger.
• Actions: o Diagnose the existing situation and bring awareness to the Opco about the underperformance of the existing platform.
o Build and communicate a shared vision for a better product.
o Define guidelines and set of actions to build a better platform (architecture design, RFQ)
o Identify, assess and select new technology partners (including names such as Google, Bing and other specialized providers)
o Lead an off-shore scrum team, based in Vienna, to build a new platform.
• Results: o New platform launched 6 months after the start of the project.
o Decrease the number of suppliers from 23 to 5.
o Increase performance of platform (e.g. routing calculation 10x faster)
o Gain of £800K/year from costs savings.
Jun 2009/Sep 2011: Senior Product Manager/Product Owner at Hibu (Yell Group) - Reading, UK
• Challenges: o I joined a company in crisis. Yell was losing grips on their main source of revenue: the print not compensated by digital revenues.
o Their web & mobile products were perceived outdated by the public.
• Actions: o Managing Scrum team, Product definition, feature specifications, wireframes development
o Identify, assess, select and managed third party supplier (RFQ, meeting, contract)
o Rebuild new mapping platform with innovative technologies.
• Results: o New mapping platform traffic increased from 200K to 1, 2M unique visitors/month.
o Integrate as a world premiere 3D mapping technology on a mapping platform (in collaboration with C3 a Sweden company acquired 2 years later by Apple)
o After this mission, the management ask me to take over the mobile team and develop with them the Yell mobile apps, an e-wallet apps and other prototype such as the 3D maps on IOs.
Sep 2006/May 2009: Program Manager/Product Owner at TomTom - Amsterdam, NL
• Led the product development of MapShare Program: a world premiere and a highly strategic project for the purchase of TeleAtlas by TomTom for €2.9 billion in December 2007.
• Led a varied team on a daily basis which included designers, offsite resources, software developers, IT engineers and testers.
• Played an instrumental role in the launch of scratch card products in shops, an e-commerce service, generating more than €10 million per year.
• Managed the technical relationship with HTC during the incorporation of TomTom software into its devices.
