CIVIL ENGINEERING UNDERGRADUATE ACHIEVEMENTS • Undergraduate Project: Traffic Operation Analysis and Re-design of the Signalized Intersections in Downtown Abu Dhabi. Software used: Synchro/SimTraffic
 o Performed traffic count studies, operations analysis and signal timing plans analysis for the existing signalised intersections o Evaluated traffic signal operation problems; proposed designs and construction modifications. • Undergraduate Thesis: Re-design Female Parking Lot at Abu Dhabi University. Software used: AutoCAD, AutoTURN o Addressing issues related to water runoff problem by designing a complete drainage system o Improving the traffic safety and vehicles maneuver
 o Increasing the number of available car spaces • Studying the efficiency of Al Dhafra C&D Recycling Facility in reducing the carbon footprint of construction projects in Abu Dhabi as well as how the plant could expand its capacity for C&D recycling to reduce the reliance of Abu Dhabi on the quarries of other emirates • Received certificate of recognition from Department of Civil Engineering at Abu Dhabi University for outstanding accomplishment in the major courses including Construction Management, Structural Analysis, Structural Systems, Highway Engineering, and Geotechnical Engineering • Received Overall Award of Excellence, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Abu Dhabi University, Fall 2012 – 2013 • College of Engineering Dean’s List (GPA 3.50 and above), from 2009 to 2013
