CAR FLEET MANAGEMENT

- Global approval processes of rental and purchased cars.
- Create departmental fleet expense and capital budgets, to submit for approval to management. Track performance versus forecast on a quarterly (or other) basis.
- Contract renewals of company vehicles.
- Determine what fleet processes should be outsourced, to which suppliers they should be awarded, and to act as primary contact with all suppliers.
- Analyze and determine what vehicles to purchase/lease, and how they are to be equipped.
- Determine chargeability of all accidents, and execute company fleet policy when action is required
- Insurance, casco renewals, tax payment follow up and maintenance proceses of company and pool cars
- Bidding proceses of rental cars
- Create/update fleet policy and procedures, to include vehicle assignment, personal use, replacement policy, accident reporting process, and other procedures.
- Finding cost-effective sources of company vehicles
- Manage or perform regular lease vs. purchase analysis in concert with corporate finance/treasury departments.
- Oversee the sale of (if leased) via wholesale or auction (if owned), or to employees
- Manage, assign, and track use of pool vehicles as required.
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
- Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage, and evaluate the operations and budget of transportation departments or transportation companies
- Direct the activities of staff in relation to transportation operations including dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles
- Direct the effectiveness of private, third party and contract carriage systems
- Plan, develop, and implement transportation health and safety, and security programs and activities
- Develop and communicate transportation policies and procedures
- Monitor operations to ensure that staff comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations
- Develop and implement profit improvement plans and change management plans
- Negotiate and authorize contracts, and direct procurement related to transportation operational needs
- Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints
- Remain current with latest transportation technology systems and procedures
- Prepare management recommendations, such as proposed fee and tariff increases or schedule changes.
- Recommend or authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property to increase efficiency and services of transportation operations.
CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT
- To Support the Administration & Compensations and Benefits Manager on effective planning implementation.
- Contract renewals / improvement of employee services including;
* Security
* Cleaning
* Cafeteria services
* Access control system and other contractual issues related with Admin, social and recreational activities.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social Activities and Contractor Relations & Management
- Following of Company Regional Sales Offices Rent, Capital Expenditure, Operational expenses and contract processes.
- Conducting the analysis of the month end variance of HR cost center.
- To control and record supplier & vendor invoices from SAP to realize necessary bookings for CC and send for approval.
