One of my biggest achievements in my current role is Eskan Bank Realty Income Trust, it is the first listed REIT in Bahrain. I was involved in structuring and listing the REIT and currently I am responsible of over-seeing the REIT performance.
My responsibilities in the Asset Management Department include managing the on-going projects that Eskan Bank is developing, this task starts as early as initiating the feasibility study of the project, getting the relevant approvals internally and externally, fund raising, overseeing the project execution until the time the units are completed and sold to end customers.
Key Persons Register Officer
Updating key persons register & familiarizing the staff with the Key Persons Trading Policy & monitoring any activities
Anti-Money Laundry
Reporting directly to the Bourse director & working with department heads
Submission of quarterly report to the director to assure the Bourse compliance with required rules
Contact point between the Bourse and the Central Bank, and assured the submission of required reports on timely manner
Familiar with different CBB rule books & requirements
Contact point between listed companies and brokers / investors / CBB
Media screening to clarify any news or announcement that affects the trading on listed equities
Assist in listing procedures of funds, bonds, equities
Represent the bourse in listed companies AGM - EGM meetings
Assuring the compliance of listed companies with CBB rules and disclosure standards
Prepare periodic reports
Monitoring exchange activities and transactions
Market control team backup
Assisted in the implementation of new insiders trading policy “ key person dealings guidelines” and department strategy preparation
Handled customers inquiries
Issued insurance policies
Reviewed financial statements and built excel models
Conducted market research including analysis of the current situation of the region real estate market
Assisted in preparing business proposal and executive summaries
