- Proactively work with colleagues across the organization to ensure that KCCI’s policy,
practice and promotion activity across all areas of the Strategic Plan are effectively
underpinned by robust research evidence.
- Lead on the production of research and policy reports, as well as internal documents,
including the development of conclusions and policy & practice recommendations.
- Develop and utilize appropriate research methodologies and methods, evaluation
strategies, and research tools.
- In collaboration with the Head of Research, support the development and training of KCCI
colleagues to effectively utilise appropriate research methods and techniques in the
delivery of high-quality project work.

- Create weekly social media, creative content which meets IDSC stakeholders standards; - Execution of a full social media editorial calendar on a monthly basis; - Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices; - Monitor and analysis IDSC competitors; - A member of the IDSC team that manage and oversee social media content Suggest new ways and plan to constantly increase and maintain number of Followers over Social Media Networks and Engagement levels; - Assist in providing the Egyptian cabinet with the report that measure the performance of government services through the analysis of social media content; - Work with copywriters and designers to ensure IDSC's web content to be informative and appealing; - Manage the section of research agenda in "IDSC's internal organizational memory" to ensure that "the right knowledge is getting to the right people at the right time"; - Attend and participate in meetings, brainstorm sessions and group work sessions; - Suggest new ways and plan to constantly increase and maintain number of Followers over Social Media Networks and Engagement levels; - Attend board meetings to understand their strategic directions; - Construct, clean, manage, and document large datasets for both internal and project purposes; - Assist in writing, compiling, editing, and formatting assigned portions of project reports; - Support the creation of customized and presentation-quality reports from data analysis results; - Draft policy memos, talking points, charts, issue briefs, reports, op-eds, blog posts, and other briefing materials; - Support board executives with various aspects of project implementation, including: evaluation design, preparation for data collection, programming and testing of survey instruments, and review and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data using various software program; - Support in managing administrative and operational project tasks (e.g., work plans, budgets, subcontracts); - Propose clear goals and objectives to be SMART in order to achieve IDSC's overall strategic mission and vision; - Propose implementation and action plans with clear timeline to execute the strategic plan; - Review the current work procedures and suggest SOPs with work flow charts; - Review and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) appropriately to measure and monitor performance; - Search and document best practices to baseline performance metrics and make recommendations for use by the Executive Committee in IDSC; - Ensure requirements, lessons learned, and best practices for products, events, and other knowledge management activities are clear and documented; - Co‐coordinated with International stakeholders operating in Egypt and worldwide, in order to Promote IDSC’s contributions to the process of socioeconomic and political reform in Egypt; - Assess international stakeholders’ areas of priorities and framework programs in order to develop channels of mutual interests between IDSC and its stakeholders to support the aforementioned key tasks; - Assist in negotiations on the joint call for proposals with national and international partners; handle inquiries of the applicants for the joint call for proposals, draft call for proposals and concept notes, prepare for meetings and took minutes and follow up actions.
