Waste Water Treatment Plant is based on moving bed bio reactor and DAF technology
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of WWTP.
• Responsible to conduct waste water tests like BOD, COD, TDS, TSS, Temperature, pH, DO, MLSS etc. to ensure the proper treatment of waste water to meet NEQ’s and client’s parameters requirement.
• Responsible to Train WWTP operators.
• Responsible for the calculation of chemical dosing.
• Responsible to coordinate with engineering department if any mechanical/electrical/civil problem arises in the plant.
• Responsible to for the safe disposal of WWTP sludge.
• Responsible to maintain the WWTP log sheets like chemical usage, plant flow rate, inflow outflow pH and temperature, color, TSS, plant equipment checklist etc.
• Responsible to supervise the collection of WWTP effluent every month for discharge testing from 3rd Parties.
Hand on experience on the following equipments:
• HACH Spectrophotometer
• HACH COD Reactor
• HACH BOD Trak II Respirometric BOD Apparatus
• Hanna pH meter
• Hanna TDS mater
• Hanna D.O meter
• Oven and Incubator etc.

Internship: Dawood Hercules Chemical Limited (June 16- Jul 14,2010) I was placed in production department to work in utility unit (water treatment plant).During my internship I gained practical knowledge of water treatment plant process, understood process parameters/conditions and presented my learning’s at the end of the internship.
