Participate in the preparation of field market surveys, prepare economic feasibility studies for small and medium enterprises in various fields of trade, construction and services, follow up their financing and supervise their
implementation.
Head of Indicators and Studies Department. the scope of work includes the following main areas:
- Supervise the preparation of the reports "Education in Saudi Arabia: National indicators and international comparisons", an annual report that addresses the needs of a range of users, from governments to academics requiring data for further analysis to the general public wanting to monitor how its country’s schools and universities are progressing. The report relies on the methodology standards set by UNESCO and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development OECD.
- Delivery of high quality reports and strategic briefings on an extremely wide variety of education, youth empowerment and employment topics
- Identify and design research projects
- Analyze and interpret international reports concerning the performance of Saudi Arabia compared to other countries/ group of countries
- Work with project management office on preparing a quarterly report concerning the Saudi universities, projects, the report presents analysis and evaluation of the ongoing and completed projects
- Prepare "Saudi Universities on the World Map”, an annual report that critically examines five main international ranking lists; namely: QS, Times, Shanghai, U.S. News and Webometrics. It also reviews year over year (YOY) performance of the Saudi university in comparison to its local, regional, and international counterparts at all indicators of the universities league tables.
- Prepare up-to-date reviews of how well the Saudi universities fared in the international universities rankings to pinpoint the weaknesses and obstacles that hinder these universities and their policy impact, in regards to quality and efficiency.
- Participate in the preparation of Education at a Glance Report, OECD (2012-2016 Ed.)
Sourcing and negotiating prices for more than 70000 items
Preparation of technical specifications for a wide range of goods and works
prepared & issued more than 300 purchase orders including full commercial evaluation, bid comparison sheet, terms & conditions compliance report, bids deviation list & recommendation, successful bid parameters compared with budget & schedule, recommendation for award and award sheet
Completed internal and external periodic feedback procedures, and proposed methods for improvement (60% of these proposals have been taken into implementation)
Analyzing and maintaining state-of-the-art knowledge of market trends, pricing, availability, and capacity, technology, and supplier capability relative to the product or parts assigned
Cost savings through vendor selections, review and developing favorable contract agreements and resolving delivery and billing problems
Obtained quotations, secured competitive bids and Maintained vendor database
Collecting employment, financial, and many economic data from local firms
